Nevermind. I was able to create the alerts I needed by building an indicator that can use the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v 4.4H indicator.

i joined forexfactory in November 2009 but in 2010 i quit forex but now am back. Please i need help on what page to download the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v 4.4H indicator. from and how to install Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v 4.4H indicator. on Instaforex MT4 Trading platform.

The Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4 and the Symphonie_Trendline_Indikator.ex4 together are the only two indicators that you need to trade the Symphonie Trader System. Here is how to put the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4 into your MT4:

1. Click File on the upper left of the MT4
2. Click Open Data Folder
3. Click MQL4
4. Right your mouse only once to choose the Indicator folder
5. Left click your mouse to copy the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4
6. Put your mouse on the Indicator folder and left click your mouse to copy the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4 to the Indicator folder
7. Close the MQL4 folder by clicking the X on the upper right
8. Click Control N to open the Navigator
9. Left click the Indicator menu and left click Refresh to show the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4 in the Indicator menu
10. Now you can use it

In case you don't have it I also included the Symphonie_Trendline_Indikator.ex4. Your chart should look like this one.

Hello, the system looks interesting. Have you tried to automate it as Expert Advisor? If the indicators could be coded with C++ the Expert Advisor could be build with strategy builder as FSB Pro. With the software the EAs could be exported as mq4 and ex4 without IT skills. Unfortunately, I am not developer to add many custom indicators but I generated there many EAs that I am satisfied with. Would be nice to have this system as EA.

I looked at the code and whomever coded did a good job. BUT, only the simple mechanics of reading the colors of the all the elements was coded intro the EA.
The approach requires several more things that you can find as you read the thread. Sometime, LOL, whenever I finish my current projects I plan to take a shot and program some of the other approaches that are missing. They will be integrated into the EA that is already provided. With these missing items the new EA will perform very closely to what a real trader would do.

Hi folks:

I am providing an ALERTS EA to the Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4.

This ALERTS EA does not alter in any fashion the original indicator and its strategy. All it does is add ALERT features that were either not in the original or where there but did not work as intended. NO, LOL, it does not TRADE .

This ALERT EA provides Popup and Notification ALERTS at the time that all of the elements line up. The alerts only happen once at those moments, so unlike in the original the alert will not repeat. You will also see ARROWS showing where the elements align (you can turn them off in the inputs).

The indicator has been running for several weeks and found to work without errors.

Enjoy and hope it provides the alerts you need .

NOTE: Sometimes you will see errors in the logs (see image). Not to worry, these errors pertain to the Original indicator and do not affect the operation of the alerts.

Checked this monumental thread after 3 years and discovered that someone - you - is still working on the excellent Symphonie. Keep up the good job!

I left forex trading since then but I am curious to see your EA, if you'll ever find the time.

I had the intention to work on a full trading EA back a couple of years ago but other commitments put it on hold.

Until recently my activities have been slowing down so now I have more time and thus decided to revisit this thread and perhaps complete my idea of creating a full fledge EA. But for now what I saw was a need to extend or enhance the indicator that is already available. So the EA I posted is just an extension of the indicator and it provides basically notifications which are not available in the original.

As for creating a full fledge EA that trades just as the originator does, that will take more time. I need to go back thru Evaluators posts and get a feel for the process he goes thru in order. Once I understand Whenthem I will be able to emulate them put them into code and that combined with the indicator should provide a real close emulation of the trades that are produced.
When will I do this? Soon I hope.

Xmess,where do you place Alert.ex4? Indicator folder? Attach to chart? Or do you just place Symphonie matrix onto chart?

I thought I was as clear lol.
It's and EA alert.

No, it does nit open trades lol.
It just provides some of the functions that are currently not present in the original symph indicator.

Its an EA... and where do EAs go?
Experts folders.

Besides if you put in the Indicator folder it would not work..
so you would of found out without me saying..

I'm trading M15TF and just wondering if there is a version V4.4 around with that setup for M15, otherwise you attach the indicator to chart and you have to type settings in again and again?

I have have installed SymphonieMatrixIndikatorv4.4 installed in Indicator folder and xm7SymphonyMatrix 4.4HAlert.ex installed in Expert folder but when I drag Alert expert onto chart I receive an error message that indicator is not in indicator folder(which it is)? What could be the problem?

did you rename the Indicator?

The name the EA will look for is:
Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator_v4.4h.ex4
So place that in the Indicators Folder and xm7_SymphMatrix_4.4H_Alerts.ex4 in the Experts folder.

If you still have issues let me know and we'll do a Desktop share... hmm or better yet I 'll make a video in a bit.

I had the similar issue whereby the original indicator with the original name was in my indicator folder and the Alerts EA in the expert folder

Even if i drag the indicator onto the chart and then try to load the EA it still does the same thing
