Trading a 1hr. chart what is a good target for pips on every trade ? i like all in all out kinda deal. So 30 - 40 pips would be good if possible. I went on the charts for 3 weeks on every trade and got a 55 pip average !

Interesting... I just keyed in 'forex' and 'forex system' in google statistics. You would think the country with the most hits would be the US or a European country....wrong.... Nigeria! Now I know where all my money is! (sorry this isn't on topic, but im sure everyone will find that stat interesting)

Actually, this is exactly everything that computes in less than five seconds when you become accustomed to looking at the pertinent details of this trading method as outlined (hammered on) by Big E...
Perhaps checking the higher TF's might add a few seconds, but the pay off is that much greater...
You've nailed 70% of your trades the first time out with this check list...
Can't find anything wrong with that number...only going to get better and take less time to do it...
I've downloaded the list as a reminder...
Included it here as a PDF for those that have trouble loading it...
Thanks much.
Good trades...
Cliff

Hi all,
This method is new to me, so this week I cut my trade size down to mini lots and decided to massively over trade to get my eye and brain accustomed to the correct signals and its working. Even if a lost all 20 trades I would have only been down a couple of hundred...and Eelfranz and the senior guys...yes I deliberately over traded and I will for the next few weeks to try and get myself accustomed to it naturally.
Good thing is....I got 14 out of the 20 trades correct for a profit of 121 pips. So more of this and I should be able to hone...

Geo,

Why waste your time on lower time frames when on the 1hr chart you can make something worth while... right ? You got it...

hi eelfranz
i know this is a repetitive question i have to ask it again because i feel it's the heart of system
i follow topic from first till now but i can not understand when we have to run into trade . when green line cross red in tdi in open of the candle?
how do we know that it will be a cross , not a touch ? should we wait for second candle ? also in this situation we may lost many pips . this is very strange for me and can not choose which strategy for entry is the best . i want to know how u trade eelfranz . with your experience which one is prfitable more that the other one . open on first candle or wait for confirmation ?
sorry again for my repetitive question .

Hi Farsis...
I'm a bit currious...
Are you asking for a surefire, no fail, always profitable entry?

after going through some of the thread I am seeing alot of people that are not following the basic rules.

Such as waiting for pa to get accross the 5ma. or the tdi isn't crossed. Sometimes there's false signals when the RED line on TDI is moving in the opposite direction of the Green. Such as a green cross upward but red is still moving down. I notice that on the tdi.. IF THE RED IS NOT MOVING IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE GREEN it's a C trade maybe a B at most.

I'm just looking for the A trades.. Big candle bodies and everything in the same direction

Follow your basic forex knowledge and you'll be set

EDIT: also it's easy to filter ranging periods when the 5ma isn't pointing to 12-2 or 4-6

Hi 2Scoops... Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing. Do you use the simulator? If you do... can you tell me if once in a trade and either the TP or SL has been reached is the simulator suppose to close the trade? I know there is also a script to use to close a trade. I thought I would ask because it didn't close the trade for me (on the sell_open script) and I was wondering if something might be wrong? Thanks in advance for your reply. Tony

Jeffx...

Have you read the thread completely? For about the 3rd time... I don't use a SL on the Hour charts and on the 4hr charts I use the last swing/reversal hi or lo...

farsisub,

Your question:

hi eelfranz
i know this is a repetitive question i have to ask it again because i feel it's the heart of system
i follow topic from first till now but i can not understand when we have to run into trade . when green line cross red in tdi in open of the candle?
how do we know that it will be a cross , not a touch ? should we wait for second candle ? When TDI touches red it could bounce off... you have to wait for the next candle to appear... if green crosses red then that is a TDI Entry signal as long as it's on the first two candles of the reversal.

also in this situation we may lost many pips .Not if your not in the trade yet...

this is very strange for me and can not choose which strategy for entry is the best .There is only 1 method.

i want to know how u trade eelfranz . with your experience which one is prfitable more that the other one . open on first candle or wait for confirmation ? Wait for the confirmation...always.

People have added several rules that aren't my rules

Dyekid217... Good analysis buddy...

I get a little frustrated when people keep adding stuff and then posting it on the forum. I repeatedly ask others to PM others on the thread with the new ideas and not posting them. At least PM me with their ideas...

The main entry rule is: green crossing red on the TDI within the first 2 candles for an entry...

I don't care what the red TDI line is doing.

Did Stoch's confirm the TDI signal between the 20-80 lines...?

The 12-2 and 4-6 is for the TDI and not the 5ema... that would just be a bonus...

If you meet the TDI entry rule it doesn't much matter where the 5 ema is in relation to the 1st two candles...

All this extra crap does nothing but confuse other traders and their success rate drops and they can't figure out why...

Everyone - Please stop adding anything... stick to the SIMPLE BASIC RULES.
That's what makes it work !
