Hello everyone, New here, discovered this forum and specifically this thread on another site. My short time here I have devoured Big E's posts, but have yet to start applying in it in a demo account first. Ultimately, you don't really learn until you go "live" and use your hard earned money, taming your emotions only happen when you have real money at stake. I have also spotted the main players, that know this system best, and are willing to share their knowledge. So, my journey begins!! Anyway, since I'm new, I'm unfamiliar with the unwritten rules...

Hi,

you can ask anything about trading no matter how basic you think they are.
I am sure there are other readers here who may have same questions but for their own reasons they do not post and ask.
so when you ask, you are in fact helping others too.
but be prepared for some not so kind replies and learn to accept them.

there will be times when members direct a question to me or quoted my post and I remain silent, it is either that I am too busy or when the members did not read the most recent posts in the same week where the topic were discussed.

{quote} Hello Emmanuel, maybe these are dumb newbie questions but I'm curious about the time when you enter the trade on Eur/USD. Do you enter right on the beginning of the week because I saw no h4 setup for trading long. Or do we start trading if it breaks the last weeks high and the near resistance at 1.3340? As i understood this system we should look on the h4 screen to see the breakout early. Pleasem correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks, I appreciate what you do for this thread and I hope one day I will also be a successful trader, but it seems like...

Hi Mbt,

If I am trading with one Single Entry, I would be waiting in the lower TF for an entry using TMS setups.

But I am trading with Position Building, which means I am looking to build up one full position using several smaller trades. Doing it this way, I do not need to wait for a TMS setup in lower TF to make the first entry. I would simply place my first trade when I login to my trade server at anytime of the day that suit my daily routine.

Note, for EU and GU, when market breaks the high of last week, there is opportunity to scale-in with bigger positions. This must be carefully pre-planned and in your trade plan.

simple, do not trade this pair.
leave these pair AUDNZD and ADUCAD to the professional speculators and forex gamblers.

Edit:

I believe TMS is a leading trading method so I stopped mixing TMS with other methods.

here is an example:

{quote} Emmanuel, Yes, the 4k screenshots can be a bit cumbersome, i will resize my charts so that screenshots are more practical. Thanks for the comments, they have been noted. I look forward to your PM with the additional components, i'm not sure whether me/me trading on d1 will be for me, but i do want to understand it fully and increase my knowledge of other trading methods. This is one of the reasons i enjoy this thread. Thanks, N (PS, i also sent you a quick PM yesterday)

Hi Nik,

no problem with the 4K display, keep posting them.
I have a curved screen by Samsung and it is great to see so much details without to zoom out too often.
I know to to cut them down when anyone posted their charts.

I will try reply all PMs today. The last 10 days were hectic and those workshops finally finished yesterday and I could sleep a good 8 hours.

EA short at LO for +50 pips, TDI crossing Red, MBL and 50L at the same time {image}

Hi,

I don't think TDI crossed red in that trade. The cross happened in the Asian session.

And does TDI crossing mbl and 50L gives better quality of the signal?

Thank you.

Red is slower than Green, as Green had a sharp cross, that tell me that Red will follow

and 2nd answer is yes , but u need to study those and see why they works and when

Hi TSS,

I knew that you were using that TDI Red Green, is this still the same?

have you tested the TDI setting with the same as the Synergy_Pro_TDI? any plan to switch to these same settings?

thanks and regards,

I used TDI Red Green , I see no difference than the Trader Dynamic Index that I use now, they both are the same as I see and tried both, I am using Trader Dynamic Index now as I think it was original posted in this thread , or think it is

The Synergy Pro TDI, I tested that and its way smooth, curves and crosses, so I think its okay for higher time frame, for lower time frame I need a sharper indi as I use it a lot on M5/M15/M30 and even on M1 time frame

So yeah I dont see the need to change now for another TDI unless I see something that can help in the way I trade

Thanks Emmanuel , hope this helps other too to see the difference between different versions of TDIs shared in this great forum

Hello, Emm!

I am curious how you would manage this trade:

GC, H4, short.

I have just entered it, based on the break and close under the W1 WRB low (the black line) and you can see where my SL is. My TP is way lower, but I want to know where YOU would put the TP, since 60% of the W1 ATR is 242, and that would be only about 30 pips from my entry. Would you aim for 100%? Or 120%? Would you go for the MN S area?
