I've been trying to find a charting software which has the function as shown on the attached picture for a pretty long time.

Now here it is, right within my platform. What a lazy man I was!

Ok, my fellow FF traders, I show you a chart contains all 28 pairs info as below.

Can you explain what we are viewing? You forgot to state.
On this single chart is shown 7 pairs, respectively are : EURUSD, EURGBP, EURCHF, EURJPY, EURAUD, EURNZD, EURCAD. The trick is they are all in percentage scale with different colors.

The origin is drag and drop at your desired place.

In this way, it is easy to identify a winning horse out of 8 currencies from a specific time starting. Hence, you have the option to choose from 28 pairs for a trade initiative.

Combine with your whatever system - tech / non-tech, naked / thong, you get a better winning odd in riding the right horse.

When I drag and drop into an existing chart, the chart just changes to the new pair.

I have an Excel sheet that updates automatically whilst MT4 is running, providing several different real time representations of currency strength - I think it's easier to read than this. If anyone is interested I will pm it to them.

An example today.

From this M10 chart, ever since GMT06:00, it was obviously a wise choice to respect USD (green), JPY (black), while shit CHF (light blue) and EUR (x-axis).

GBP was/is in the middle.

A winning short EURJPY trade was chosen combined with my intraday system.

That's pretty cool. I did this once in TradeStation, but I had to code the sync in EL, and it was kind of unwieldy... then I lost the EL code. What program are you using?

This is a built-in charting function of one of my platforms. Unfortunately the broker is not listed here in FF as preferred broker anymore. But I do like their service.

What i would be interested in is a chart with trade-weighted indexes of the major currencies (ala the dollar-index, not pairs, but individual currencies).

MT4 doesn't support it automatically, but I believe with some proper programming inside of a script, you could put all the pairs on one chart that you wanted. Of course its a fair amount of effort to do it, so perhaps we'll get an integrated function that does it someday as you mention.

I believe you cannot apply indiactors to them all together..

You can trade the pair that corresponds to the weakest/strongest currency on the chart. In the first example, the weakest currency was the CHF, and the strongest was USD. In that case, I would buy USDCHF.

In the second example, the CHF was weak again, and the JPY was strong. Shorting CHFJPY would've been the move to take there. Samuri shorted EURJPY instead, probably because the spread was smaller, and the EUR was moving along with the CHF, as it often does.

'Great minds think alike'. Great annotation, Bluebuddha! As I mentioned, this observation gives us side-information which is very helpful for the decision making.

I like the idea of buying the strongest and selling the weakest, but have not given a thought on how to do it. Thanks to Samuri for showing the way.

I have made an indicator to show the relative strength of various currencies vs the Euro, just as shown in Samuri's charts, but I prefer to show strength as positive, and weakness as negative.
