Hi all,

I have posted on Brijon's thread and Brijon seems of the opinion that the following enhancements to the Ea would be of help:-

a) Any particular pair to close once a Trailing Stop of a user defined X number of pips is reached AND

b) Immediately replace the closed out pair with a new trade for the same pair and in the same direction at the same lot size.

This gives us the stock turnover and printing money that Brijon refers to.

c) If the entire basket reaches the basket take profit level, then close the entire basket and re-open the...

The ultimate rinse and repeat.

Thanks Brijon for the suggestions and Nicastro for posting them.

I will update our DC version with all this if it works out well. In the meantime, I have added a specially-adapted version of mptm to post 1; this should achieve the same effect. Please see the DC section in post 1.

This should be fun.

Mr Hopwood thank you very much for taking the time to code my suggestions. I have set up a new demo on which I will be setting a basket close of 0.8%

I'm afraid that the adapted mptm will not attach to a chart.

Right clidc on mptm and select Delete. Close down your platform. Re-download the ea an start again. This usually fixes problems like this.

Mr Hopwood, I have tried all of this, but alas, the Ea still will not attach to the chart.
Anything else I can try?

You might try rebooting your computer?
then re down load MTPM
make sure correct sub dir

then open the mt4
drag to chart that should do it

I just noticed that the upl display, and therefore the calculation, is wrong when there is a hedge open.

As a quick fix, DC now uses the account profit displayed by the platform - post 1.

Those of you who can, go the end of the code and find
Inserted Code
CalculateBasketUpl();
if (Upl >= CashProfitTarget)
and replace them with

Inserted Code
//CalculateBasketUpl();
if (AccountProfit() >= CashProfitTarget)
then go to void DisplayUserFeedback() and find
ScreenMessage = StringConcatenate(ScreenMessage,Gap, "Upl ", DoubleToStr(Upl, 2), NL);
Inserted Code
ScreenMessage = StringConcatenate(ScreenMessage,Gap, "Upl ",
and replace it with

Inserted Code
ScreenMessage = StringConcatenate(ScreenMessage,Gap, "Upl ", DoubleToStr(AccountProfit(), 2), NL);
and re-compile.

Edit: if you downloaded the fix before the time of this edit, then you have the wrong version and need to re-download. Sorry about that.

Hi Dryclean,

Done this too. MPTM in experts folder. Still will not attach to the chart.

I went into meta editor, saved a copy, recompiled and mptm reported the following error:-

"'end of program" - ending bracket "}" expected

I tried to insert the bracket "}" where the red indicator took me right at the end of the ea.

Alas, no still no joy! The ea recompiles and the same error is reported at the same place.

What else can I do, anybody?

sincerely

Nicastro

Thank you sir, you are a star.

I have downloaded your version. But it still will not attach.
It has got to be something more fundamental my end. I will download a fresh platform and start again form the begining.

Hopefully, I will have everything set up for a London Kick off tomorrow.

Faithfully

Nicastro

EDIT: STILL NOTHING - Have tried everything!! mptm will not attach to any demos that I'm running - either new or old. What else can I do?

The EA probably didn't compile correctly if it won't stick on a chart. Nicastro should open up MT4 (modify the EA) and see what errors are preventing it from compiling (if that's the case).

the best time frame and use of these major 8 is the day before tripple swap long after the tripple swap short these currencys and strategys have a extreme high hit rate as discussed on my old thread utalizing times before and after the tripple swap

its the reason why i still use the tripple swap and these currencys and times for high hit rates and to add positive interest in my drawdowns using other peoples money (drawdowns ) for positive earnings

god bless from BRIAN

Followig my reading of CrucialPoint thread particularly on the converting of multi-time frame to one time frame (post# 27), I tried to draw a line on the opening of m15, h1, h4 and daily by counting the bars representing the different tf (15, 60, 240 and 1440 bars). After doing these in the m1 tf, I tried to checked if the lines are the same in their respective tfs. What I discovered was that as I go further to the higher tf, there's a significant differences. This might be one of the reason why Crucial point opted to trade on m1, and according to him he has been successful. Here is the link:

http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...=215432&page=2

I have the feeling that we can also be successful trading the m1 tf if given the necessary tools. Several indicator I am thinking are the TMA centered, MA envelop; and, the Six by Chaser (representing the different lines of the different tf. I tried focusing my time the entire trading day observing the m1 with the tma centered as my guide (with Brijon's 3MW), and I noticed that it is not that difficult to follow after all. The secret is to follow the trend. I hope someone out there could help me create an indicator as mentioned above. The indicator must include: for the m15 line to be changed after 15 minutes; the d1 line after one hour, the d4 line after 4 hour, and so on.

Happy Trading and God Bless,

Edd
