Thank you for sharing. I am yet at the middle of the thread but one thing I just want to clarify though. On the first post is stated: Entry: 1. Buy at the HH5 plus 3 pips plus the spread (open 2 trades). As I go on reading over the thread, it appeared that we are not placing a Buy order but a pending order. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.

I'm grateful to Colostarr for sharing this method.

A suggestion: Since the value of ATR20 is used for two key functions (1. qualifying the validity of the set-up with regard to volatility; and, 2. setting the profit target), it is important to note that on occasion you may want to use the typical ATR20 value for that pair rather than the most recent value. Example: Usd/Jpy moved in an extreme way for short-lived period after the quake. This skewed the ATR20-- in the immediate wake of the quake--to a degree that was IMO mis-leading for UJ small-hours setups during that time period.

OTOH, that might be hindsight. Food for thought, anyways.

You are correct. From previous posts by Collostar, it appears that this system is intended to be traded via pending orders.

It would be clearer if the bolded sentence in your post was re-stated as follows, and with the following additional context:

[Since you were discussing a long setup--]

Set up pending orders for two separate (long) positions.

Position #1--Entry: Via a parent and contingent (one triggers the other) pending order, with the parent order loaded as a buy stop, with the price set at the HH5 plus...."; and, the contingent order of the initial stop loss and TP1 loaded on a one-cancels-the-other basis, with the initial stop loss set up to to sell on a stop and TP2 set up to sell on a limit.

Position #2--Entry: ....Ditto, except substitute TP2 wherever TP1 appears above.

The formula for the initial stop loss and PTs appears elsewhere in this thread.

Correct me if I am wrong:

AUDUSD at 14:00

HH5 = 1.0583 LL5= 1.0534

1.0583 - 1.0534 = 49 pips

ADR = .0037 (37) X 1.5 = 55.5.

Therefore HH5 - LL5 is less that the ADR.

The last bar is below 20/40 MA

It is a green, so sell at 1.0529. Already hit T1 at 1.0501,
2nd lot going to T2 at 1.0446. Current price is 1.0487.
The Stop loss is set at 1.0588.
