Daylight saving in MT4

Hello everyone,

Does MT4 time change in Spring when there is day light saving? or it is fixed like GMT time? (as i know GMT time does not change) Let's take interbankfx platform chart time

MT4 time depends on your broker. IBFX uses GMT for example. Other brokers, however, use different time zones and therefore DST.

Well, in my case it didn't change.
For example, on my IBFX platform before the daylight savings time change a few weeks ago, the Daily candles/bars would end at 7pm EST.
But since the time changed, they now close at 8pm EST.
So because it's GMT I guess it doesn't change.

Same with mine, it stays at GMT, regardless of DST. I believe GMT always stays the same, its just the other time frames that move back and forth one hour.
