I think you'll have a solid short term long at 1.23. Obviously you know why. However it seems like the deeper you dig the more reasons you'll find for a long term short. Congrats on yesterday.

I can't help but say that it looks like it's headed for 2008 lows. Canada has very ambitious plans and it's not all talk. The US ecomnomy is tanking and the more you look at it things appear to be a classic "break it down to build it back up" to come back bigger faster and stronger.

Despite what the media says trump is not a stupid man. If you research him, his business tactics are ruthless. A country is essentially a big business and when trump plays he obviously plays to win after all he is president. He would intentionally devalue the usd in order to come back around and maximize his profits and while the media is busy busting his chops the real movements are happening in the shadows.

One hour to go for the BOC to put it all on the table. Classic trap on the m15 with a small bullish move to grab some orders to possibly drag into the abyss. Im not saying the handle will make fresh lows, however the writings on the wall and anything can happen. Speaking from a technical point of view, just a whisper of hawkishness from BOC will send the price down to 1.23ish. to play the antagonist. Dovish talks could easily send this back to Fridays high. Its that simple.
