I opened a long position after it rebounded from 1.3300 and I am still keeping it open for the moment.

On the monthly chart there is a formation called an "Adam & Eve" bottom. (maybe you already know this). The neckline of this formation is at approximately 1.3. This number could provide very good support. If the pattern plays out we could be in for a longer term, years I mean, bull run.

Yes it could be bullish as long the CCI(31) won't drop below 0. In addition to that, I can see a bullish convergence Finger cross

USD/CAD formed a bearish shooting star bar on the daily time frame at 1.3455 and I am considering closing my long position.

forces that move price are not looking at CCI31
just saying....
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time
you are quite right dianajs going short is the right way for now. If oil keeps jumping higher it would keep going. I would go for target 1.31 at first.

I shorted after it formed a double top at 1.3450. I think it will fall back to 1.3370.

USD/CAD rebounded from 1.3340 after the NFP today, but I don't think that's the end of the drop. Next week we'll likely see it fall back to 1.3300 - 1.3280.
Dianajs , I believe that you are right on. No way did wages increase 2.7 percent in the US , as the report stated today. The price action after the release of NFP strongly suggests a strong further downside to this pair.
