It's been consolidating above 1.3280 since it dropped due to the news about the rate hike yesterday. I opened a long position.
USD/CAD is currently trading at 1.3335, lower from 1.35 before the announcement that the Fed is raising the interest rate. Consolidation around current price is expected to continue today.
Buy
Open half position @ 1.3318 with an order for short pending @ 1.33528, so I can lower my average. 1.33528 is 61.8% of my weekly fibo levels. You can also visit my forum weekly fibo levels for more info.

USD/CAD moved to the upside to 1.3377. I think that if it breaks out above that level it will reach 1.3415 - 1.3420, so I still haven't closed my long position.
Wave structure says it will drop around 1.32 after consolidation, possibly this week. However, we had a very similar structure for AUDUSD pair before FED hike last week; resulting an opposite upward price action. Confirm breakout before a short entry!
Here what i'm expecting... plz also point me where i'm wrong....

1. price may continue in major channel or break further for short. Decision is just a candle away

I'm shorting now. My day, H4, H1 and M5 AO and AC is turning red and below zero line.

It is 2 hrs time before US market open. So is a good place to short here.

I shorted too. The pair is steadily bearish and I think it will reach the last low at 1.3275. Then there will be either a double bottom and a new move to the upside or it will continue falling.

@ $1.322 cover(take half) or exit if you scalp .
