I made a nice easy 20 pips..could have had a few more but closed price early. BUT...my original take profit was at 1.3635...i closed at 1.3645...

Price only made it down to 1.3636..so i would have lost out on a profit by 1 pip as price turned around and went back to the original price area.

Today I had the last laugh at the market! (probably not for long)

Hello all. It's been a while. The 1st chart is the daily: It shows price breaking the support line and price breaking a lower low. The next chart is the 4 hr: It shows the fib from the move down. The 1 hr shows a little more: notice the bearing engulfing candle off the 50% retracement. Price did not break out of the channel, but it shows a lot of sellers up there. You can see my entry. It is not my best. I was not at the computer at the right time. I should have been the candles before that with the tweezer top. Anyway, I took profit for a 100 pips on half and 200 pips on the second half

I would never guessed post-nonfarm payroll price direction as you did, but now it makes more sense.
However I did trade E/U "small down move off 89, but my candle did not retraced all the way to 21ema (4-5 pips short), Ï ws a sleep so only BE. Anyway I am happy, I starting to see some trades I am supposed to take according to the rules. I did some backtesting last few days on U/J and it really helped.

Currently I am in AUD/USD short from 90.52, RT, as contra trade securred 20 pips and second target is 0.9002 (free ride)

Don't you just hate that! it drives me nuts...

When you are not trading it hits every target you think of...when you are in the trade its always short of your TP by a pip or 2.

So today i find myself jumping the gun..Not sure if this is part of the system..

I have gone down to the H1 and found an area that i thought looks good for a long trade.

you can see Buy/st/tp on the charts.

Let's hope the eurusd goes up. I also have a feeling it will go up. If history repeats itself. Then lots and lots of pips for you.

Can someone please help me out with this problem: During weekends when I do my analysis for the week ahead I put in my trendlines but the next day when I open my MT4 and the markets have opened all my trendlines have moved. Is there something I can do?

Howdy Lifer - good question. I may be wrong but it could be something to do with what data your provider supplies. EG: my provider is a 5 day candle and ignores the Sunday PM trades. In other words, if my Friday candle closes at 5pm USA , all data will remain intact right thru the weekend until market open at 8am Monday. perhaps your T/Lines alter because of the Sunday market??? Just thinking out loud buddy.
Hope on of our resident gurus can help here.
BTW - Phillip's video today was great again eh ? Go the EURO ( either way will do )

The price didn’t go down again, didn’t made a TC at the same time, Trade closed by SL, good thing that other pairs had some pips secured-all trades closed.

Some suppliers are open on Sundays, some are not. So every case is different. The best thing to do is to call or e-mail your mt4 supplier about the problem, he should be able the fix it the proper way.
