{quote} Hi BK, ( this doesn't stand for Burger King does it ?? ) Just wanted to show how 2 people can have different takes on a trade possibility. I am now in Short thanks to the ol ' reliable H4 TC. My expectation was that we have been trending down for a while now. My 1st regard is where we are in relation to the 21ma. Price finding resistance at the 21 and now also at that downward T/Line. The 89 has flattened right out so price is in consolidation mode. As soon as we saw some strong action moving from the 21 & closing thru the 89 , I took...

ha ha..its not Burger King...

Thanks for the charts and detailed explanations...and well traded...my focus was on 89 as a support rather than 21, as price was between 89 and 200...it just shows I still have a long way to go to understand how it really works......

Aussie now closed:
Hi guys - Just closed the trade +35. Not moving too quick now and in fact the Kiwi is really flatlining as well. . Looks like a bit of patience needed to wait for another burst of action an any of my pairs. The Euro & Pound are both heading gently north but there is the USA Unemployment numbers in about 3hrs so not hanging around to take the chance on a move in my favour. Bedtime anyway over here so catch up tomorrow.

@ Phillip:
Hi Phillip - when you have a minute to spare, can you look at this Euro chart and tell me if I am near what you are saying or have got it all wrong ??
In my mind, price is below 89 so Bearish. The 21 has been pretty solid resistance recently. Can I play the odds as you put it & look for Price action to let me in on the H1 timeframe??

WHAT I HAVE BEEN SEEING IN THE FORUM IS SO POWERFUL!

I HAVE TO BREAK OUT OF ALL COMMITMENTS (DISTRACTIONS) TO MAKE MY OWN INPUT!

THANK YOU PHILLIP

(KING OF THE FOREX MARKET)

Thank you tremendouslyPhillip Nel! You are indeed a mentor with a Strategy that "will stand the test of time"! Your strategy is engraved, blended or built on human nature and that is why it has risen its head above all other strategies that be in the trading of the Forex market!

To be frank with you, Phillip; I now use your Forex strategy in human relationship. It has given my great insight on how to go about living with people in the sense that I am able to read individual and collective human emotions setups when I work or walk with them and within me I am able to know human emotional setup or weather condition at various time just as we do here using charts...then I know when to connect to people and when not to...of course peoples mood are not the same at different times....and that is one of the key reasons of misunderstanding in relating with people and in doing business with them.

If we can read and analyse peoples attitudes and connecting it with their emotional setups through the grace of the spirit, then we will know what to say to them at a given time and what not to say.
Then one can set limits (just as we set stoplosses and take profits, and adjust our trades or positions, etc) or boundries for himself or herself in all his dealings with people...whether the person is your brother, sister, relative, wife, uncle, business partner, fellow country man or woman, etc: You will know when you get involved with them or in anything and when not to.

No one will pray for his flight to be in a bad weather.

Once again I say thank you to you from the bottom of my heart! I am very grateful!

I use FXCM but I do not have the MACD for the trade station. If you have an account with greater than 2,500 US dollars, you should get the MT4 platform in addition to the trade station. The interesting part of that is you can have the 4 hr candles close at different times.

This video was amazing.Thank you Phillip.

The way you see the charts it's like understanding the meaning behind a poem but I just read the poem,Mechanical as you said.
I think the way you see and translate the chart is an art.I have been following you from the beginning and still I can't do that.

I knew the Flag pattern but I didn't know the meaning behind it and you said it fantastic.

I really enjoy watching your videos and still learn new stuff.

Thank you so much master Phillip

Possible trade setup for when the market opens.

Post some charts if there are any other currencies that also look good for when the market opens.

I don't usually watch any other charts but the EU as i can confused when trying to watch them all on my phone whilst at work..

But I will watch these as i can see you know what you're talking about and your analysis is worth watching/checking.

On another forum someone was saying these work well.

Asia - Aud/USD / NZD
Europe EU and GP
USA U/CHF U/Cad

I don't know but will try to check these this week to increase opportunities.

My own ideas on EU for Monday/ this week.

Looking to buy on a small dip to the 1.362 area....

However, the interaction with the 89/200 on the H4 is the key and where to watch.... move away - pull back - strong move away ...

Let it happen baby!

Good luck all...

gidday Lifer,
Again you post clear charts - enjoyable to read. Thanks for that.
Not sure which way it moves today. I like your idea for the Aussie - it will depend on the open if there is a Gap that needs to be filled 1st before a direction takes shape. My chart shows all of what you are saying and I have noted on mine that there is now an equal/double High there as possible resistance as well. That BRN is pretty strong too so a short looks ok to me. Of course if we are both wrong and price moves away from the 200 then returns as a retest, it may well indicate a willingness to head on out to the 365 ???. Either way, we have all bases covered eh!
Your EurChf looks good as well. I like your chart of the 15min showing possible entry points. I am now starting to see the Breakout , pullback & move away pattern as you have drawn. I think Phillip has been trying for some time to get us all to understand this concept. In future when I describe this pattern - I will refer to it on my charts as B P M - (breakout/pullback/move away)

Off to work now so will check back in later. Good trades all.

Yaakruay this is what I usually do: PROFILE1: EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, EURJPY usually move in the same direction. (Set them up like Phillip
explained using multiple windows)
PROFILE2: USDCHF, USDJPY, USDCAD, GBPJPY usually move in the same direction.
PROFILE3: All other currencies and crosses.

I only allow myself 2 trades a day.
I go to PROFILE1 and look for the best setup and trade it.
I then go to PROFILE2 and look for the best setup and trade it.
(I always go in opposite directions-for example if I take a LONG in PROFILE1 I will only consider taking a SHORT in PROFILE2.
If I can't find a perfect setup in PROFILE1 or PROFILE2 I go to PROFILE3.

Binnie, I see and hear that mantra now...BPM..

I have been using that recently but my mantra was - move away, pullback, strong move away.

I believe Yvon (trademin) has been hammering this into us too.

LifesAbeach
thanks for that, hopefully have time to check these new currencies out this week..I want to catch trends and not force trades into the EU.

This thread is amazing, it's just a slow drip feed of solid information.

Of course thanks to the master...Phillip for popping in the videos which are a brilliant insight in how to trade the market rhythm.

{quote} Hi Arrow, I use smiley when I can secure some pips or feeling great about the position! But in the case of EURJPY I did put a SL away above, but not quite high enough… and I went asleep. Again! Being hit by a SL lost 58 pips in EURJPY. The SL was 1or 2 pips short of range! I got back in! Same with EURUSD,EURNZD, EURAUD, will see…

those were long shots, patience was needed!

At last! Those pair are moving down as expected:

EURAUD: secure 75 pips per lots, still gong down

Got hit by SL in EURUSD!( sometime too closed!)

EURNZD : target reached : about 87 pips, still in…

EURJPY: still in
