AUDUSD long update: stop loss move to just below last resistance level at .91866. Looking good. Last candle broke and close above BRN level .92000.

Nice. Cya on Monday. Its Friday night here. Gonna try not stare at charts every hour. Something I need to learn. BTW, may I know how long a trade using this system usually last? 12 hours? Or more?

Thanks Edge - there is no set time limit buddy. But its an interesting question you ask - over the weekend if I get a spare hour or so, I will look back over my trade summaries & see if I can come up with some times.

USDJPY broke above the upper median line of andrew's pitchfork. Well supported by the SMA 89 (around 100.00)
MACD also showing a TC signal.

With a little twist of the fork, there is a possibility USDJPY will dance around the median line.

Here is my backtesting for the EURUSD from 15 to 21 July

I think it was a quiet week for the pair. Not many signals and it was mostly of the time trading within the sma89 and sma200 range.
For me a confusing week about the ranging strategy

Anyway...here is the PDF

Thanks for doing the PDF. Just confirms what Phillip tells us - Things get very messy when trying to trade when Price Action is not trending.
Good exercise though and great way to physically back test our signals. Keep up the good work - I find it very useful to see how other traders view things.

TUESDAY WATCH :nerd:

Nothing happened for me yesterday so pretty quiet day.

I have spotted a possible CT on the Euro . Looking for the Macd close in about 3 hours . The Pound is similar but does not have the strong Divergence of the Euro and Price has already broken Resistance levels that could become obstacles on the way back down.
Will look a bit more closely as the clock counts down




Anyone else have a watch plan in place for today ??

First of all, welcome to the thread!!

Well it is working...there is I think no doubt about it! But it's not a system to learn just in a few reading days. It is really a lot of information in the whole thread. After you read the lessens from Philip then the world is just starting (well I talk for myself ofcourse!) and you need to adapt the system and also the market Rhythm.

You run into problems like:
-What are the right signals?
-Do and did I understand everything right
-The system needs to go into you....after a while indeed you see a chart and then you can see the high prop. trades quickly.

Well after that....you run into the next trouble-zone.... now backtesting is working for you, now you need to do the same practise at live:
-Well then you need to be patient for the next trade
-In my case....if I didn't saw a trade the last day(s)... I really want... and there you go, you take the wrong decisions...
-You get a signal.... and thinking that's my baby.... and after a short time you see troubles you first didn't see. Was I right or wrong?! Well all that sort of problems you need to overcome..... with this system but I quess with every system, that's just trading!!
-Again, back to Philip lessons.
...and slowly you're going to get it....and your trading results are changing s l o w l y...
-besides that.... you actually need to determine your personal trading-window. And if you know you can trade only at time x and x..... then you need to look at those times (4H-chart)... not then and then.... but as much as possible. See my backtesting from last month (June) we had 37 MACD-signals and only 12 tradable signals in just one month. So it is worth to look as much as possible at those 4H-chart times if not then there is a big change that you miss the tradable trades....(for the month Juni approx 32% of the MACD-signals were tradable!! The rest didn't matched the system-rules!!) that means you need to give you totaly for it! day in, day out and that's not easy... anyway...it's just like a job!!

Then again back to backtesting.... well it's working....
and again you try to manage emotion and greed etc...etc...

Well in my case it's really a big trip to arrive! I think I'm not the only one...or?!?! But I make progress....and progress and still I need a long way to go..... I guess!

Look at my Backtesting I did for the month July and the last 3 weeks. I think that tells you it's working!

Well have a start with Post 1 from the master himeself! It's the best startingpoint!! And have fun in your trading-journey!!

- With 1 lost trade
- Total possible pips were in my way of decision: 20 pips

Well I hope so Hope I'm backtesting at the right way.

last month (july) we had the following score (if I could trade every signal!)

total MACD signals: 30
total valid trades: 10
winners: 9
losers: 1

Well I remember that Philip ones said.... normally you have 10 to 12 valid trades per month. If you have more you searching for trades!! Well in that way I think I'm not doing that bad...
