A few brave souls in the chat for the US afternoon session. I started watching from 17:00 gmt (London Close). 4 out of 5 signals good over next 4 hours running 50+ pips each finishing at the NYSE close 21:00 gmt.

forexjedi's system performing very well for us yet again...

I have taken the liberty to create a risk calculator for everyone. The calculator is set to 1% as this is the most anyone should risk. File attached.

Fairly boring day today. A lot of risky moves that I did not act on. Other trades to small to post as the were over before I got here. Lets see whats happens tomorrow.

Hi Rob

I've been having severe (terminal!- no pun) pc problems so your Force summaries are invaluable.
Please continue to post them for the (UK)-US session. My normal day is UK+US and BTW I wish the thread used GMT times. FJ is a bit early for me!

NZ = GMT+13hours? wow. Hope I didn't wake you!

Hi, i took a short here.
1. Force Signals are all in place. Ma, Stoc cross and Macd.
2. Double top and inverted hammers.
3. Price couldn't break daily pivot and bounce of upper TL.


FJ, please correct me if i am wrong. And anything else i didnt see and left out?

Thanks for your feedback Nu2fx. I like summaries too to get an overall idea of how a session went. I will continue to post a US afternoon session summary and make it as true to 'the force' basic rules as I can.

I would prefer that someone else post summaries for other trading sessions.

We went into the session thinking pre-holiday would be fairly quiet. It was.

Euro rallied 'gently' for 4 hrs from London Close to NYSE Close. After NYSE close there was a small selloff of 25p.The most excitement was the first signal of the session, moved 50p in 40 mins.

An area of chop associated with flat macd gave us a couple of false sell signals on the way up. Again discretion, waiting to reach significant resistance is the way to go when looking for a reversal. This came later with the double top that came at 2918 and followed by a good sell signal.

Lessons I learned:

1. do not hesitate on the first signal of the US pm session, especially when coming off significant s/r

2. do not accept opposing signals without first seeing good evidence of s/r

3. when macd is neutral (flat), accept that when it finally moves away from neutral then that is the 'right' direction

4. bank half of the trade at 20 pips (or less), let the second half run, feels so good to get some profit banked and then have zero concern for the rest of the trade

I had a bad night last night. Really worked on my confidence at the time. I trade micro and it is prety small anyway but some trades I took just ripped it apart. Bad days come and go. I've really got to work on emotion, and I got a little sleep and feel much better about things today.
