My journal on The Force 5min system

Detailed below is my newest strategy. This journal will be dedicated to keeping records for my lastest system and the only one I have ever made public because its eady to explain. I invite eveyone to try it out as it does produce good profits if traded correctly. By good profits I mean you make pips everyday even if its only a few. Ive only traded this strategy on the Eur/Usd.

Sessions: Any, but I only trade during the assian and euro session.

Indicators
MACD: 12,26,1 ( 1 means nothing )
Stochastic: 5,3,3
EMA: 5 to the close
EMA: 5 to the open

*no trades during news times*
*Risk is set to 2%*
*Take profit is random based on market conditions but ill usually cash out based on reversal patterns or a cross of the two ema's*

Trade signals are only confirmed on closed candles/bars.

Buy Signal
a) When the stochastic crosses up from the 20 line and is not ovebought
b) The MACD closses higher than the previous time interval
c) The Signal candle/bar closes higher bullish
d) The 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Stop Loss is the low of the previous candle or 20 pips but 20 pip min.

Close when the 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Sell Signal
a) When the stochastic crosses down from the 80 line and is not oversold
b) The MACD closses lower than the previous time interval
c) The Signal candle/bar closes lower bearish
d) The 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Stop Loss is the high of the previous candle or 20 pips but 20 pip min.

Close when the 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Thats it. I like to keep life simple. If anyone has any questions they will be answered between 12am and 7am eastern time. Rest assured all questions will be answered so keep checking back if have posed a question and have not received answer. Chart examples will be produced based on demand. Enjoy.

Daily P/L +50 pips

It was a fairly profitable day but a little slow. My systems net profit was a solid and easy 50 pips in profit. I closed trade 4 before the weekly support 2 at 1.3096. Im sure many others may have stayed in but I went the least risky way and bagged some profit. Same time same place tomorrow. Please see below for my thoughts during the progress of the signal development and thoughts as trades unfolded.

Trade 4: closed Long at 1.3069 6:30am est at +23 pips

Analasys:

The price will head bearish but im not sure how far as the signals are mixed. For now I will stand aside and wait for a long position. I expect the stochs to close below the 20 line and when this happens there should be a nice bullish move. Although the price is headed bearish I will stand aside as the current price action does not fit the system rules. Its better to be safe than sorry. 5:00 am est. The price has exploded downward past my previously predicted 1.3121. I dont expect it to close much lower than 1.3090 area. A nice reversal is expected on a bounce of the weekly support 2 when all the indicators line up. 5:10am est. The price has found some great sesistance at the weekly support 2. I expect it to range the take on a bullish move which at this moment in time is unknown how big it may be. On the other hand theres a chance it may break the weekly support 2 but I doubt it as the pair it oversold. 5:25am est. I did not expect the price to move this far down. Momentum is a crazy thing. Im sure its oversold now and a long signal is being generated. 5:50am est. Finally the long position ive been waiting for. Theres resistance at 1.3096 so it could bounce or not even make it that high. If it clears that level it should make a nice move. 6:15am est.

Trade 4: Closed Long at 1.3179 4:40am est at +4 pips. I didnt like the way this was moving so I took a few pips and got out. Price action tell me its going short.

Analasys:

This trade was take on a reversal from my previous trade. It happened very fast. It could go back to test 1.3255 or just be a correction. Either way I plan to bag a few pips. Ultimatly I see it headed bearish again which could also happen very quickly. Not sure when though it depends on the current price action in development. 4:40am est.

Trade 3: Closed Short at 1.3212 4:40am est. +33 pips

Analasys:

Continued downward pressure. I expect a possible move toward the 1.3121 area then a large upward trend. Or a ranging market for about the next 30 min. 2:47am est. As mentioned previously I expected the pair to breal into a range as a possibility and it has. Next I expect a setup for a long postion sortly after the Euro market open. 2:52pm est. The pair (eur/usd) is moving nicely into position. I expect a long trade shortly. if not a slight bullish move then a turnaround on the stochs below the 20. The last possibility is small bullish move toward above the 80 on the stochs then a nice short possition may be taken. 3:07am est. The pair has crossed the 80 line on the stochs as I suspected as a possibility. A nice short position should be on its way. 3:26am est. Looks like my anticipated moved has occured. I expect the price to fall to 1.3121 area. What will actually happen could be a different story. 3:45am est. The market seems to be picking up some speed now. The MACD has crossed in bear territory. All signs at the moment point o a contunued short. I again estimate down to about the 1.3121 level. If not around 1.3150 area. 4:20am est.

Trade 2

Status: Long stopped out at -20 pips. Makes the daily total -10 pips. Im not worried about this at the moment. The reason the trade did not work out was due to major resistance from the weekly resistance pivot and the down pressure from the previous reversal. This happens and that is why I limit my losses and and let my profits ride. Im wating for another setup.

Analasys:

Reversal to the 1.3150 level maybe slightly lower. I expect a bullish signal to be generated soon due to the pair being oversold. I anticipate another trade before 3am est. 2:11am est. The pair is now finding resistance. I expect it to range for a bit then to either continue bearish or form the bullish signal im looking for. 2:20am est. Not sure

Trade 1

Status: Long position taken. 1:30am est.

Results: +6 pips 1:43am est
Results: Trade closed +10 pips 1:55am due to reversal. What saved me some profit here is the MA cross. I expected this to happen but we made some quick profit anyway. No reversal signal was show due to the stochs not crossing above then back below 80. I will wait for the next signal. Theres no real way to tell where the price will go at the moment. I will not re-enter this trade due to the high amount of resistance. I will wait for a short position due to a bounce of the weekly resistance or a long signal which will be generated from oversold territory in the stochs 20 level and a confirmation from the MACD and MA cross.

Analasys:

Major resistance at 1.3271 due to weekly support. This tade could reverse but I expect to take some profit with me.

Trade 1

Status: no trades today as the market is not behaving in a proper manner.

Analasys:

I anticipate a bullish move shortly to test the weekly support 3. 12:25am est. Looks like theres already been two hits on the support since the new trading day. My thoughts after a second look are a week bullish move to bag a few pips then a nice bearish bounce. Im still studying the market moves for today and the edn of the day yesterday. On my las look at the charts the signal to go long didnt fully line up. None the less a week bullish move has accured. We now wait for a bearish move. 12:35am est. For the 20 min the brokers and banks have been messing with the spreads and adjusting the prices. Lets wait some more. Theres seems to be some big money in the market tonight. Lets see what happens. 1:15am est. The banks are still having their way with the market. The market is out of control right now theres no stability. I will wait till their done which should take another 30 min or so. 1:45am est. The spreads on my charts are still not back to nornmal which means the banks are still messing with the market. I will wait some more. 2:40pm est. Looks like a nice setup brewing to go long right now. Possible barriers for the trade not working is the Monthly support 3 line at 1.2728. It does look like the bears are loosing power here and because the pair is way oversold on both the stochs and the MACD a trade should be initiated shortly. 3:05am est The market is stuck in a range. This is a vry slow day for my system. 3:25am est

hi Forexjedi just wanting to ask, when you say the macd to be higher/lower than previous time period you mean to go down to 1 min chart and check the signal or value ?
