BOJ Today a Big DeaL!.....and PVSRA says the MMs are Shorting! Yep, just look at GJ for confirmation. Yesterday the price was pushed up above the half number SR where huge trading volume took place. Later in the day there started an even more monstrous building of shorts which drove the price down (I took a short entry there). Then, in the after hours market, when it was easier to do so, the market makers stopped the drop and supported the price. Very late in the day, the easiest time of all to control price, the market makers began moving the price...

Accumulation? Then why you are selling?

Accumulation - adding longs
Distribution - adding shorts

I have no SL nor any target set. I will probably not set any SL and wait out whatever happens. As for a TP, probably literally hundreds of pips lower. Still thinking on that.

EU:

Nice whack job by the market makers, whisking the price down to the whole number area to fill some more orders for those dirty rotten stinking greedy banks.

Not so bearish? Come on!

Just look at the three H4 bear bars knocking the price lower. The bottom bar is the lowest volume of all three! If it has been highest, I might suspect short closings which could later lead to long openings for a strong recovery. But the bottom bar does not suggest that at all. Just more selling.

Of course, after a hit like this, a trader could slap on the FR study and look for a good pullback for a short trade. And yes, the bigger the hit, the bigger the pullback might be, and hence, a possible long trade that is counter trend. However, gold is highly manipulated, and therefore safest to trade the trend.

Which is down.

Anyone else see the following in GU?:

Shows some high volume at lows including during news spike @ LO--possible positioning for upmove? but appears to be struggling to get through resistance of a couple of fib levels + whole number.

I don't recommend M1 volume, it's too messy and too noisy. Can't trust M1 volume.

Look at least M15 and if price consolidating somewhere then look M5 is it accumulation or distribution phase. Just my opinion.

On your picture the highest volume appears at high. As you see there are volumes at the highs and at the lows, so which volumes you trust???

I personally not looking GU now, H4 no showing clear trend, D1 strong resistance area and H1 shows weakness and support both.

Yes, I should have clarified that there might be only a short-term possible long -- within bigger bear context.

GU:

Yes, a Sonic R. Classic long setup, with good basing volume just below whole number (nice). Dragon is sort of flat.
