Cable Update (GBPUSD)

The green level below is a daily support level that was suppose to turn resistance but look at the reaction of price on it. It bounced.
The red level is H4 resistance that is suppose to Turn support, now there is break out on it and it is almost acting as support now. You can only sell if price fails to make it a support and close below it.

Also, a bullish trend line is active on the 4H.

Conclusion: We still bullish in the main time.

It is important to study the daily pips movement for the pairs you’re trading.
Take for example, for a pair which naturally moves 96 pips daily, moved 71 pips during the Asian session. it is going to be difficult to trade that pair successfully during the London and New York session because for such a distributive phase we expect to see accumulative phase of the market.

Just go and study daily range and average daily pips movement for the pair you are trading and also market phase. Last year GBPUSD moves 127 pips daily.

Note: Although there are some case in which the price will move more than the regulated daily pip movement but it is very rare.

If you traded trend line break and retest today, you should be in profit...

Very right...this is the idea that I found after struggle of months and I trade Daily Range verses Average Daily Range. When there are News like interest rate, US CPI, NFP. Price could move beyond. But in 15 days of the month price remains in Avg Daily Range.
When ADR is met, I look for price action on H1 near Support or Resistance. This gives usually 38% - 50% of the daily move.

There is one other detail, the public sentiment is rather irrelevant. Price is influenced by orders of the institutions and central banks and controlled by the AIs' actual trading.
