Looking at the daily chart, both EU and GU should drop some more next week.

And Jim Cramer saying Deutsche Bank is fine is not very good for European bulls either.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

The inflation that the FED is fighting right now was caused by the FED increasing the money supply as the government dealt with Covid 19, the free money given to people and the wage increases required to get them back to work. Nothing in the cause about economic expansion or interest rates. In the background, the US/Ukraine war against Russia is a significant economic drain of resources. The FED implemented a solution to raise interest rates not correctly identifying the cause of inflation and causing problems for small banks. To protect the small...

What is every central bank in the West wrong?
The whole point of QE is interest rates; when the FED buys all the debt, rates artificially go to 0%.
QT is the opposite effect on rates.

The FED is taking existing debt onto its balance sheet from the small banks and swapping it with cash, and they're the same thing.
Treasuries are risk-free, and safer than cash, so banks are encouraged to diversify into them.
The bailout comes with the debt being worth less until maturity and the FED paying Par Value. It is limited to a year, but the markets have to believe it?

If you accept it will end in a year the banks need to make sure that cash is available to buy back the treasuries.

I've always thought the QT operation is the thing to break the market while raising rates like that.

“The macro backdrop in Turkey remains poor. Real interest rates are deeply negative, the current account deficit is widening and short-term external debts remain large,” he wrote. “It may not take a significant tightening of global financial conditions for investor risk sentiment towards Turkey to sour and add more downward pressure on the lira.”

I've closed my sell trade.
WTI crude futures slumped more than 3% to below $68 per barrel on Friday, as US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm told lawmakers that it will be “difficult” to refill strategic oil reserves this year, prompting speculations that the US government would only start buying at even lower prices'.

Something tells me bearish trade still on.

There is a lot of intervention, that's for sure.
Emptying the reserves seems a highly risky strategy, but they won't tell you in Gordon Brown style (gold) when they have to fill it back up.
The sea-born cap is a more extensive intervention, with Russia selling oil below the threshold because they don't accept it.
Oil should be higher on the current landscape, and I'm monitoring the weekly doji from a technical point that just touched $70 on a consolidation-type move.
I prefer the Brent chart.

My GU view:

I am only interested in selling this market except I see compelling reason to buy on LTF. I see potential break of last week high to the upside before price falls.

124 for me too. On Friday I mentioned retesting the previous high which still remains untested after which 124 is the next area. 124-12430 before a move down I think. If it goes down after not sure

Here's a technical perspective on the GBPUSD by a medium-term swing trader. GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame is sideways at the upper part of the wide 1.18220/1.24060 horizontal channel (blue). There was a bullish retest of the 1.24060/1.22680 daily supply on Wednesday which resulted in a bearish pushback on Friday. Nevertheless, we may still see northward liquidity engineering before a southward rotation.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.
