US data looking good, FOMC is just minutes usually without too much of an effect however unless there is some manipulation I think we have seen todays high already

In the end, I did bet a bit on the hot print (shorted NASDAQ, already out of the trade now).

I did it after looking at previous PPI report here: https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ppi.pdf. It turned out, that in August, the main reason for lower inflation was 13% drop in gasoline price, which was flat in September. Most of the other things were actually positive in terms of inflation.

Sorry, did not have time to post here before the news. But I guess one can now look at CPI report: https://www.bls.gov/news.release/arc...i_09132022.htm and make one's own conclusions.

Gas prices here are climbing again up 15 cents in 4 days.
The Core number will be hotter than expected as there are hints all over the place.
