DislikedIt’s coming to the end of the day. We aren’t going to see the dizzy heights of 140 today by a long shot. The drop was news related however there wasn’t a major piercing below 139 either (as my SL found out) after a drop there is sometimes a day of retrace however that hasn’t happened for a while. Also the drop wasn’t as much as say FOMC. Mixed feelings for meIgnored

Disliked{quote} I think that you are trading breakouts. It is ok but allow me to give and advice: buy low, sell high. As long as you have a setup, buy only below 50% of your current range and sell only above it. A breakout above the top is not strength, it is just lack of volume left below and the system repricing up. Positions that for being profitable will be sold below as short orders. Good trades are sold from top and bought from the bottom. Thus any breakout above is a bad long and any breakout below is an ugly short position. It is the universal law...Ignored

I can't put a second or third trade on with low risk to my precious trading capital, provided the first lot is in profit and add a new one on. Then the risk of the trade is fully offset with the profits made. So, first the oldest lot is protected by positive SL, and then the new one is placed on, and the stop is adjusted. Now this trade is fully funded, equity curve is moving up nicely, and the trade contains no overall risk. When spacing...Ignored
