Gonna wait, Euro is breaking out and dollar is sinking, I think EU will want to go up to high 1.19s so it may limit any further downside for cable this morning

Missed the bounce unfortunately I thought it would touch 1.38

I think that 60-75 zone should be good lets see how the PA is

GBP will want to sink when DXY rises though, there is buying pressure on Gilts

There is a 5m supply zone here so maybe some drop if DXY finds support around here, it's at a TL retesting area

I thought it would touch 1.38 too. I'm in a 23 pip hole at the moment and will add to the short aiming at 1.38 when I see some short term momentum, but if this keep going up will have to cut a lick wounds. Should be some resistance at 1.3840

Licking wounds!!!!! OUT

Interesting they think negative...
Stimulus takes time to get out there and be spent ,but I don't think as long as the first.
So the next bar after this one I think will be a big one on the positive side.

  1. Did January Retail Sales soar 5.3% on stimulus payments?

"Retail Sales
Expectations for consumer spending in January were also woefully under charted. Overall Sales were forecast to rise 1.1%, they soared 5.3%; Sales ex autos were expected to gain 1%, they jumped 5.9% and the Control Group which mimics the consumption component of GDP, climbed 6% on an 0.8% estimate."

Yea I think dollar has to pull back here so 1.3850 not bad for a short, also S1/YL, maybe positive USD retail data will help the push down?

Could go either way staying out for now

Looks like I missed both moves today, no bueno

... 15min hidden bearish div is present - probably good so long as price stays below 3875...strong bounce so far though! Regular bullish div on 1hr at current dly lo.

EDIT: 50% of the day's fall so far reached.
