EURGBP is a cross between eurusd and gbpusd so EG moves according to the other two , eurgbp has no bearing on gbpusd , get your facts right

Yes, I read it as well; does not mean Commission won't be updated at all of course, just that Barnier will be talking with Frost at that time. And anyway, Frost will be updating ministers later today, so there should be some news.

I think the talks did not go anywhere, otherwise we would already hear about it. People always expect some sort of breakthrough, but reality is, negotiators are bound by their mandates, and in this case, their mandates on state aid and fisheries are incompatible. The best negotiators can do is to find areas of possible compromise and hand it over back to politicians. And I think this is what is happening. Now the question is, how much Johnson and EU leaders would be willing to move.

Terrible spike. Holding my short. At the end of the day I expect near 2800 or even below. Also I like the rejections above 2900. I am expecting a dump.
