I prefer God, family, love, friends ... because without them I would not be so grateful or happy

GBPUSD set to challenge prev lows near 1.21/1.20. Here's a note by ING.

"With the new government rhetoric on the hard Brexit firming (Michael Gove’s comments that “no deal is now a very real prospect”) and the rising likelihood of early elections, sterling should remain under pressure and ahead towards EUR/GBP 0.95 / below USD/GBP 1.20 levels over the coming months if early elections materialize and the Conservative party under PM Johnson runs on a ticket of a divisive Brexit stance vs the EU," ING notes.

Also options players prefer downside now (institutional traders don't do much spot trading, most of the volume is in options and spreads).

Option traders are siding with spot traders on the direction for the pound in July and the 3-month risk reversals in GBP/USD indicate that option traders see more pain for the pound still to come ahead of the 31 October Brexit deadline.

The 3-month risk reversals have fallen sharply this month and are falling further in the new week as Boris Johnson's government continues to talk up a no-deal Brexit outcome.
here's the 9500 EURGBP on weekly price chart, this is the level from ING note.
Noteworthy - the clean breakout. Spells trouble.

Hi Guys, I dare not sell at these levels. My monthly sup3 breached at 1.22606, a feat seldomly achieved in any currency and if any I would be looking for buy trades and I guess not any time soon. Is it going to be Gu at parity? I suppose not and BoJo will have to deliver. The pound is the weakest currency across the board. Multi year lows. The rebound could be spectacular. I wait and see.

what are you talking about? no rebound in sight. As reflected by the moves made in the options market by institutional players.

Those are still early days of the huge multi-tier move South.

Previous move on weekly shed 5000 points of the rate and saw it plunge by 30%.

now if you project similar move fast forward today, you get a potential for GBP=USD (parity) move. on weekly.

Pound could fall to parity vs. USD on hard Brexit concerns - Morgan Stanley.

"The pound has come under intense selling pressure since Prime Minister May withdrew from her party leadership position, leaving markets with increased concern that the UK may be heading towards a harder Brexit."

Hi Asgcorp, you are a breakout trader as can clearly be seen from your calls at 1.2440. Congrats on that and something not seen in a very long time. I do hope that it can continue for you in time to come.
Contrarian traders will just have to wait.
