I miss the simple days using basic low risk 123 system.

Now I'm tracking an invisible sequence of laws in 5 layers of time, trying to anticipate where all the reaction points are, trying to anticipate how 16807 waves fit together, linking them in sequence... Tracking the geometry of space time can be taxing on the brain. The hard part is getting your head round the laws to begin with. Wave Principle is roughly 72 pages of laws, rules, guidelines and diagrams. It's easy to focus on one element and miss another vital element. You can take a few basic elements of wave principle and apply them to make good profits when opportunities arrive. But I'm literally trying to plot the entire sequence permanently looking for every swing. I make it hard for myself by never taking breaks. I think my super power is obsessing on details.

I probably should have added that I am referring to trading higher time frames such as the 4HR and above. I am not referring to scalping.

Agree with what you are saying ' It's easy to focus on one element and miss another vital element It's easy to focus on one element and miss another vital element' for me that's the reason I don't take the complicated route, I understand how it may grasp your interest.. you are the guy who wants to decode every bit of information lol all the best buddy.

For me a wave is simply a point where price turns and move out of the ongoing channel, and I just stick with major sup res/ demand supply zones.. looking for pull backs on a trending market around 40-50% of the previous wave to enter for continuation, and usually targeting -50%/150% of that particular wave.. and I try to cut the losses short and letting the winners run in a trending market as long as I don't see clear signs of the trend changing. For me, the charts are simply a reflection of human psychology, with every candle giving hints about the larger story that's being told.. but I am talking about larger time frames here, at least 4H and up, smaller TFs to me are simply SLs being ripped to pcs and algorithms doing their thing.. in other words, noise.. and it's no good, it distracts and usually won't let the bigger picture and the bigger story to be understood and grasped.

Anyways, all the best buddy ! Take it easy, give that hard working brain of yours some rest too lol because like you said, trying to go deep and calculating every move can be taxing indeed for the mind, and the mind and body needs to be relaxed and joyful in order to function at it's best, at it's peak.. which is what we all want and strive for. Cheers!

I called that awhile ago when we are still at the bottom. "When fluctuation subside and volatility starts to die, that is the time big players taking profit. And it will go back to where it should be". Back to where it started. And here we are now..

Anyways, If my trailing SL will not get hit, I will let it run over the weekend.

and just closed one position in 500 pips on the NAS100 trade, rest @ BE targeting about 1000-1500 pips next week, in case it continues upward and isn't going to test somewhere around 10000. Closed one long @ 1.180 EU in 50 pips just now around the daily open, rest @ BE targeting 1.190-1-2050 in case the next bullish wave is initiated this upcoming week.. long term I have an eye on 1.210-1.250 for the next 1-2 months. Let's see. Safe trading guys ! Have a good weekend !

I was just sticking with the H4 and Daily channel/ structure and avoiding the smaller TFs trying to convince me to avoid the bigger money flow. Scalped every pip with shorts yes but stayed with the bullish bias just because there's no confirmation yet on the larger TFs that may look like hope for the bears.. when there is a shift in the bigger flow, I will cheer for the bears but for now, Babushka favors the bulls
