disagree, we sometimes see market expectation like today with euro, droping below 1,3100 with good slowing momentum from the previous rally just before release, I've seen it many times before.
sometimes price says it all, happend many times before, try to go back in the charts and find it.

Did you notice the data leak?!?! EURUSD jumped up at 6 and 8:15 est to suck in as many people as possible before the data release. Gotta love it.

Yes I was one but luckily took a short after the loss and gained back 95% of my initial noooobness

Even the most experienced traders CANNOT predict what NFP will do. I dont think anyone in this forum is THAT experienced.I have been around for 9 yrs and I happen to know how unpredictable NFP is. Its a GAMBLE...plain and simple.

I don't always trade it either - it depends on the preceding play (days) and on my expectation of the results which I clearly publish beforehand along with my EU trade, but his comment was a complete generalization and deserved a pointed response

I can guarantee that all of you who traded NFP and was lucky enough to make pips would have disappeared had you lost. Im just saying....the biggest part of the game here is to protect your account. Trading right before or during NFP is not protecting your acct.

i think at the least ny will have to reach the march 6th low before we see a bounce.

i'll be looking to buy a little below that level, give ny a chance to reach the lowest low.
trying a short, but this still seems a OTT reaction to the NFP figure. Market really wants to screw Euro bulls at the moment, I caught the ride up in this and uj but had the good sense to cash out before.

No doubt soon the market will try to screw euro bears, the trick is being on the right side
Hopefully it's gonna trip the stops at 2966.
