I can't figure it out! I have been long since 4500 but now im tempted to close and go short.....If anything play the range....I have read alot of of so called experts calling for this to revisit 4700....in my experience if the experts say go long that is when you short.....right now im undecided

I've been asking that question too ....

Look at the bright side, if this pair continues to remain like this, you can just buy low and sell high ...

That is soooo true, I am actually thinking of placing a short order in the event it hits 1.4900 and buy areas near 100 SMA or EMA. As of right now though, I still have my short position held until my SL is hit, (which for the reason we have talked about, we know it will get hit 1.4625).

Sorry for interrupting but what if it climbs 1.4900 and you go short but it actually starts its way up and up? But then, guess that's the risk we have to face eh?

Totally true! Haha well my intuition is telling me to back out of my system now. And to be honest I think I will. I think I will place a long trade at 1.4575 with SL at 1.4495 and PT at 1.4875. Just as an experiment, to see if we bounce above this 100 EMA support level. If it goes back down I lose 80pips if it goes in our favor then we gain 300pips. Lol lets see although....=(...if it works out.

I prefer to call it an ascending triangle with higher lows forming since 22th December. Made another long entry today based on that.

I saw that oso. so you think it will break up the triangle ?
I am just wondering ???

or can it be a trend reversal ? i wonders. Is Euro too high ?
But seldom we see ascending triangle with trend reversal. usu continuation.

i shall find a best spot to enter long

Not sure it will break the triangle but I think the odds are very good that we see 1.49 again.

not too dramatic a response to US retail numbers. They came out better than expected - what happen to the 60 billion in gift cards for January sales?

Still holding long...this thing is basically flat for a week. Position is getting a little long in the tooth. Like to see a break to the upside, sooner than later.

EDIT: not liking the shape of this chart on longer time frames. H4 needs 1.4540 to hold...IMO

else where USD had been stronger , against CHF, JPY ... i reserve my view on whetehr it can go up to 1.49 again.

It is hard to guess where it is going now. guess can only buy support sell resistant. But my usual instinct on the pattern of triangle tell me short this triangle. lots of pips to make anyway, up or down.

wish you luck

expecting this pair to drop.

but atempts for eu to rally can be expected. as if euro bulls lose the 1.4480 area. they are in trouble.

This Pair is beginning for a Nice Sell very soon..
Dollar strength is seen.
However Technically EUR/USD is bearish.. We never know if any ECB member just pops in with something, or anything fundamental comes.

BUt technically this pair is bearish

True you have a point their, according to technicals it is bearish, but don't you think by the looks of the past couple of months it will go up back around 1.49ish it has tested the support area of 100EMA twice, and this being the third time. It seems like it may go back up. Do you think this will be an important factor???
