Disliked{quote} 100 pips grid on any pair (even as volatile as GBPJPY) will give you very less profits I guess but also less risk.Ignored

DislikedHi All, I just tried this EA; it works fine during normal market condition but it will definitely blow away our accounts when there's a BIG spike up/down. Is it possible to have 2 different Multiplier, we use a lower multiplier for the first 5 levels and then use the default number after level 6? Any programmer can help on this idea?Ignored
DislikedVery nice EA... I have it OOB running on my demo account since 11.Sep. You can check results here: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/c0l...ect-ea/2629054 (before i tested another EA, so it started when curve is constantly going up, so please ignore the absolute numbers, it started ~ -2000 profit) However so far the EURGBP pair is ranging, lets see how it behaves when Brexit results are on the table.Ignored
Dislikedi have 2 ideas to reduce the risk in this ea: 1 - not use martingale multiplier but addlot for example start with 0.01 addlot=0.01 every step is +0.01 or if you put addlot=0.02 every step is +0.02. 2 - not buy and sell in the same time first time but buy when there is the signal of buy and sell when there is the signal of sell. signals can be anyone or indicator or whatever formula.... if someone can tell me a good signal to buy or sell i will try to modify this ea to make it work better..... these are my 2 cents....Ignored
DislikedHundreds of threads on the same topic, thousands of posts and millions of discussions here on FF and lot of experts had already proved many times that Martingale, Grid and Hedge systems will never work in the long run unless one has huge capital in his bank. But still, there are many traders (maybe day-dreamers ) who believe that these systems can work in reality even with low capital and proper Money Management. Possible? Well, I am one of those day-dreamers who believe this is possible despite already lost so much money in this. ===========================================================...Ignored
DislikedNearly one year ago I told Kashi in the beginning of this thread, that his approach has limits and most likely will not succeed in the long run. Obviously I was right having all the blown accounts in mind that are beeing reported. Nevertheless I want to encourage you to keep on working - it IS possible to be successful using grid/martingale techniques in the longer run. Do not mistake this as a guarantee though. PS: this is one of my accounts PPS: i am NOT promoting or selling anything - save your time. {image}Ignored
DislikedYou have to find something unique. A specific idea using these grid techniques for a specific pattern or pair or timeframe. Based on my experience there is no solution that works for "every" market situation. What I am trying to say is there won't be a grid EA you will be successfully using for multiple pairs for example. I did not found one at least until now. Afterwards make sure to test it for 10(!) years at minimum including not only tickdata, but slippage as well (there is only one paid solution, that will be able to do that)! It was a struggle...Ignored
