These things take awhile to play out. The institutions need to get a couple of billion on and they cant do that on a 5min chart. The market will of course be manipulated to go in the wrong direction first so they can get their discount.

Lower demand for Treasuries puts upward pressure on the USD. Lower demand drives bond prices down. Bond prices are inversely related to yield therefore yield goes up. Increasing yield = upward pressure on a currency.

Same as last week. Build on CL but a draw on Gasoline. CL goes down then it goes back up. However draw was not nearly as big as the time before hence muted reaction so far.
