    Federal Reserve officials grew more positive on the economic outlook, citing “substantial underlying economic momentum,” and were increasingly optimistic about achieving their inflation target, according to minutes of last month's policy meeting. Yes it will come back soon, I am speacting to sell GBP against USD and JPY. Today the BOE told the UK is not at the best moment, nothing to get scared but enough to sell de pound , also Thersa May are asking to change the deadline of Brexit and with this request and anothers in the same document I believe it will apreciate against Pound.

I belive the reason why USD fall , is because the voatility of the Fed Minutes event which it started at 1:00pm almost 20 minutes ago.
Institutions have been accumulating EUR all day. No surprise it EURUSD has gone up on the release.

i didn't see anything bad or dovish in this news , but as always the market is responding the opposite for now because of market makers.

The S&P 500 is up 28 points to 2743 after the FOMC minutes. The index climbed about 10 points after the release.

The Minutes were upbeat about the economy but not particularly hawkish. Overall, there isn't much to takeaway from the text. I suspect this is some money that was waiting to come off the sidelines anyway, barring a big hawkish surprise.

Still, there are plenty of different opinions on the path of Fed rates this year so I don't think we've seen the end of worries about hikes.

But the trend is the other way round. How do you read the DXY trend? It is in a down trend has been for over a year in clear terms and three years if you count the two years and the up parts while it was in range in the build up to this clear trend and it is all set to escalate incredibly higher for risk and therefore lower for the $. So yes you are right about trends but upside down right in my humble opinion unless of course you can prove to me all the charts are wrong.

1. Keep your finger OFF the trigger and trade ONLY established horizontal support and resistance levels.
2. 61.8 fibs are delightful for retracements, aka S&P and DJI this last week.
