It's from the Greek word of phobos which just means fear. No other qualifying adjectives. Which makes sense,

Aracnphobia Fear of spiders. Simple.

Islamaphobia Fear of islam. Simple.

I have direct evidence that your statement is incorrect. At the very least it should be modified. I know of three children, born to a woman with IQ a bit below 90, who are all capable and unhindered in their day-to-day performance. The oldest is about to qualify for BA, the middle one is smart and has the most acute/productive/high-efficacy problem-solving skills you can imagine, the youngest has a different skill-set and also suffers from dyslexia. Therefore the link from parentage is not clear-cut. However having two smart parents does seem to give the children an advantage....

People who succeed despite dyslexia are hugely gifted. They develop tremendous powers for lateral thinking. Kudos!

people are more likely to inherit IQ from there mum but it's not a 100% fact men are more likely to inherit their mums her dad's hairline/male baldness but i have the some hairline as my dad this just means i have gone against the odds also dyslexia normally get it from their dad with sons having odds at about 66% to be dyslexia and girls being about 33% likely to be dyslexia this example you have given is just one case it's not normal

There is an off-putting requirement to spend some time talking to your machine 'so that it gets to know you'.
Having just watched "Why Him" I can see a need for the Caley Cuoco voice....

However, once you are passed that it is really quite a useful tool.

Why do you think I would know the answer to any of the specific questions you asked?

Do you have those answers?

I can guarantee that if you read that chapter I just posted you wouldn't be asking those questions assuming that there is an easy answer.

Some doctor-type on R4 a few months back very precisely summed up a few concerns I have. He said that humans have defeated the natural selection process.

Superficially I thought he was spot-on but it is occurring to me that, as with the global climate change fiasco, the time frame that needs to be considered is much greater than the cognitive scope of people. So let us see in another half-century (I'm unlikely to be here).
