I think test of 1230-50 area possible. But ignoring pin bar on 1D would be irrational. E in its favorite are since 2016, looks like any good / bad dollar data would be driver for next few weeks.

I'm not a professional trader. And came here to get some ideas about eur/usd . But 50% of what I read not related to trading.

However I thought to tell what I learnt from great eastern philosophy "If you respect other's you will be respected"

Im guessing the stop will be hit before it reaches TP. You could still get a winner but you would have to close manually...how's that?

Due to the French elections, most probably the market will open with an UP gap, even above your TP, so your TP will be set at the opening price.

Looking at the weekly USD setup...I wouldn't be surprised if we did a run from 97 to 100 again...which would bring the euro below 1000 again...maybe 880-920. Could be a good idea to short EU above 1200 but leaving some space(leverage) open to be able to add more shorts above 1250 and possibly even 1300, if banks make a final run to kill shorts, the account better be ready for it.

Bigger gap up on EU would be fantastic...as I could leave the trade open for the week. There is some unfinished business at 1075 and 920.

EURUSD Monthly Outlook

Below is my monthly chart which I prepared on www.tradingview.com and as you can see EURUSD flows between the midlines of the following two channels:

1) The bigger channel (orange) has a midline at 1.1365 for this month (for each month the touchpoint drops roughly 25 pips), and therefore we can expect price not to go higher than 1.1365 for this month. (For the next month not higher than 1.1340) assuming this resistance line will reject!

2) The smaller channel (purple) has a midline at 1.0940 for this month (for each month the touchpoint drops roughly 10 pips) and therefore we can expect price not to go lower than 1.0940 for this month. (For the next month not lower than 1.0930) assuming this support line will hold!

The center between the range of 1.1365 to 1.0940 stands at: 1.11525, and if you noticed, inside this month that level has been retested already (price went down to 1.1130 violating the calculated center for 22 pips). Based on that I assume, if we face another test, this time it probably won't be able to violate the center level 1.1152 and reverse from there. As a result I will look for buy opportunities once price comes close to 1.1152 level.

To summarize: If market makes an attack to retest 1.1365 area we could look for sell opportunities once price rises into 1.1340/65 zone. If market attacks to retest 1.1152 area we could look for buy opportunities once price drops into 1.1170/50 zone.
