Might be short lived, but might be also a final re-test of the area above 1280. Tomorrow is an important day for GBP and some bad ass spike may come...which might "help" EU, too. I will sleep better knowing I covered my shorts in good profit, since even the heaviest volume couldn't close below 1200 today, not even for one hour.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

In the early 80's, me and my friends used to go to former "Yougoslavia" every summer, coz the whether was so nice.
Beach vacations in Kroatia, Cultural tours in Slovenia.
Camping in Porec and Split.

You've been to Balkan? That is nice. Yes, it is a nice country, if it hadn't been ruined by bad people who had some very bad decisions, it would be even better.

Everything that has been built by communists during the Yugoslavia era has beem dismantled and ruined. Therefore, people are barely living here. The whole economic situation is ridiculous.

I understand what you are saying and yes it is bad.
I have a friend here in California who is also Dutch like me and he was part of NATO's armed forces in the middle of the war.
It's impossible to tell on this forum the stories he told me.

As a trader with 12 years experience I have actually no clue where EU is going from here.

It is a strange situation.

EU is going nowhere except for the fact that since the start of 2017 it is in a slight up-trend.
Still I make the most money with short trading.

If it breaks higher than 1.13 I have to consider longs.

But I also have in my mind that GAP from April 23 that still has to be closed.

I guess it all depends on how much Trump is fucking up the dollar!

You said that the "big news" didn't convince price to break thru some key levels. Agree, only 100 pip sell off, not a big deal and no important levels broken. My point was that the "big" news wasn't the priced in rate hike, it was the hawkish tone afterwards. Imo, that was the big news. Clearly the market was expecting a dovish statement especially after the bad US numbers this morning.

Yes, rate hikes don't change the economy, but Yellen's hawkish rhetoric will change the longer term sentiment. Asia spoke, and they said we aren't interested in buying the Euro right now. The usual 38.2 retracement and now lets see what London says.

Imo, before the press conference all the risk was for an upside Euro breakout. Now, I think the risk is to the downside. Of course, what I think is irrelevant. I'm not really looking at what happens the next two days, I'm looking down the road a couple of months

Think I need to make new friendships coz almost all of my old friends are gone.

Either they lost the game or they became extremely rich, but even then they would said "aloha" to me.
So my presumption is they just left after being disappointed by forex.
