Hi

This is a daily timeframe strategy. Indicators on my chart are Bollinger Band (deafult), Stochastic (9,3,3) and AC indicator.
On a new trading day, I will scout around for either one of the 4 candle formation - Pinbar, Railroad or twins, Engulfing and Inside Bar.

Ask yourself these questions:
1) Do you see one of candle formation? Yes - proceed to step 2 No - NO TRADE
2) Is price touching or piercing the lower (buy setup) or upper (buy setup) band? Yes - proceed to step 3 No- NO TRADE
3) Is stochastic oversold & below 20 (buy setup) and crossed one another? Yes - proceed on to next step No - NO TRADE
4) Check the color of AC bar. (Example, red for sell. Green for buy)
5) Check if there's any area of confluence (S/R, Fibo, trend line ..........) for a high probability trade

SL - previous high or low
TP - Fibo no., S/R levels.....

Usually, R:R is 1:2 or more. My trade often runs for above 200 pips profits.

I have attached a screenshot to illustrate the strategy.

I tested the strategy for about a month and eventually decided to try it on real account with $1K investment. To my amazement, the account
grew (still growing).

I always wanted to trade the daily chart. Certainly a strategy I'm going to test out.

Also a suggestion - would you be able to create a new thread for this? Just that this seems to be very interesting and will be great for new followers to ask questions and discuss setups. It might get lost in this thread.

What do you mean by the terms Railroad or twins? Is what others might call a BB squeeze? or maybe consolidation based on bollinger band outer bands in parallel?

EDIT: I just scanned your "How to Trade.." document...it's in there...sorry for the dumb question...moving on.

Hi

I solely used price action (candle formation) strategy. Make your trading simple. Trade what you see and not what you think will happen.
In 2010, I attended a trading workshop. We're taught a few strategies, one of them was MACD crossed. The organizer invited a few of their
alumni students (successful ones) to share milestone stories. And I had a chance to interact with one of them. The MACD crossed strategy
has been consistently making her profits. R:R 1:1 (sl 30pips tp 30pips) and she only focussed on 3 pairs EurUsd, GbpUsd & UsdJpy.

About 4-5 years later, it was made known to us that she has made her 1st $1M.
