Your observation reminds me that she ended-up as PM by default after everybody withdrew. Maybe she has discovered that PM is a shit job.

The manifesto fuck-up was a disaster that was not of her doing. I believe the Conservative Party Executive dream it up, maybe they shot her in the back.

I believe you are correct with everything you wrote.

IMHO we have not had a decent leader since Margaret Thatcher, although I think Tony Blair was quite a good leader even though I hated the sound of his voice.

However, of all those who stepped up to the plate none of them has been as down-right in-your-face rude to opponents as our Nige, and that is why I think he is not a leader.

I'm happy to be proved wrong, it is clear that he believes in what he is doing and that is unfortunately rare amongst politicians.

Already I see people claiming the DUP are 'terrorists'... and making comparisons between Corbyn and Sinn Fein / IRA

Looks like the Irish Unionists have saved May's bacon, and potentially rescued Brexit.

The Tories only need 48 MPs to trigger a vote of no confidence and May will have to go. I think it will happen. Boris is bookies' favourite at 11/4 and Davis second at 6/1.

Thank you Nigel for some clarity within the shit storm. It appears that everyone, including David Davis wants to water down Brexit, and perhaps the only way is UKIP with Nigel back, putting it through some major reforms. If that happened I would vote for Nigel.

I've never really heard him be rude, plenty of in your face straight talk and he knows how to rattle and expose opponents weaknesses. Anyway if Brexit is derailed I don't think the voting public will be too concerned about his manner so long as he gets stuck in and gets the job done.

In reality, you have a flat position and when you close one side you are opening a directional trade. Plus while you are doing this you are paying more in charges - spread/ commission and carry fees (interest). And then you still need the other side to come back to a profit in order for the strategy to have really worked out or losses eat profits.

Added:

Brokers put this facility into their platforms because it benefits the Brokers. They get an instant double hit in 3 of their 4 profit areas. In the real world you can't do this as the long closes the short and vice-versa.

I went into a Tesla showroom, you know, just to be nosy and to wind up the sales guys because I'm like that. There was one I looked at with gull wing doors which weighed 3 tonnes, most of that being battery! So I wondered how that would react if I were to swing it around a chicane. I was told the range was 300 miles on a full charge, which takes overnight, but you can have mini charges, taking 23 minutes giving a range of 170 miles. Now, what is not clear is how you drive it to get that range, because in reality, you never achieve what they quote. Probably you have to drive it like a milk float. So, what would be the range if I thrashed it? 50 miles? The technology in the batteries is similar to the battery in your phone and when that starts getting a little old, it gets a bit inaccurate. You look and see 50% charge and think you're fine and dandy, then the next minute, you're as good as running on vapour. I am not convinced the car won't do the same. Anyway, 0-60 in 2.4 seconds is pretty cool, but I guess with that weight (and being American), that would only be good for going in a straight line.
