Hi

I have been trying out this new strategy that stumbled upon forum.

My chart has 5 SMa, Accelerator Oscillator & Dots. Trade is valid if these criteria are met

1) Price crosses 5 SMA
2) To Sell: I need to see 2 bull candles followed by 2 bear candles
To Buy: I need to see 2 bear candles followed by 2 bull candles
3) Dots must be there. Dots signify potential reversal. I used it to close trades 100% and to look for potential setup, if any.
4) Additionally, I use Accelerator to avoid bad trade. To sell, AC bar must be red color (it doesn't matter below or above 0) and
vice versa for buy trade.

I trade live with this strategy. Results have been quite good as now I dare to let my profits run.

The pics show my live trading account as well as my demo trades.

Take a look at the screenshot. No trade if any of the criteria ids not met.
You might want to look at "V trading system" discussion in this forum.

I added 5 SMA crosses, Dots and AC as additional filters.

Closed EurNzd sell with good profits.

I only use this system on daily timeframe.

Thsnk you yanah12. I did find the AC Indicator on MT4 under Bill Williams indi's. This is a great system which I will follow very strictly

Hi Yana,
Would you mind telling us how you determine entry, stop loss? Initial target is 1:1? What do you look for to allow your trade to run?
If you have modified any of the default indicator inputs, would you mind showing us what you did there?

EDIT - ** Also, for the AC indicator, you said AC must be red (above or below 0) for sell...but for a buy did you mean to say it needs to be GREEN (above or below 0)?

I admire ur strategy of trading the daily time frame and it seems simple and clean. I hope the dot indicator doesn't repaint???

In EJ screenshot, there is Green dot down - in that case should that be a cue to close the order? What happens if you see green dot, but AC is red and candles have crossed sma 5?

Hi kski

When the Dots appear, I'll close 100% of my trades as there's a probability of reversal. These Dots only appear at
significant levels (support or resistance). If the support/resistance levels are broken, the Dots will disappear as
the levels are no longer considered significant. In other words, you know that it's not the time for reversal yet.

This is how I take my trades (step 1 & 2 are critical):

1) I look for 2 bulls & 2 bear candles to sell or the opposite for buy (V formation)
2) Price must already crossed 5 SMA

3) Colored Dot appears (ready for reversal).
4) AC must either be red (sell) or green (buy). If the AC indicator is not in-sync, I will wait.

SL will be placed at the previous high level. Once in profits, I'll do trailing stop. Trades will be closed at the first
sight of colored Dots. R:R is usually 1:2 or more depending on pairs.

BTW, EURUSD crossed on 4 hr chart and looking good (going down)
