HA_Rider (A Robots Lab EA)

Good morning guys. I have recently joined this thread so am somewhat behind everyone else with testing etc. Right from the outset it is obvious that this system is a trend follower. As such there are two issues which upset the system. Ranging and trend change. Essentially the same thing if ranging is viewed as frequent trend changes. Now I am certainly no programmer or any form of expert when it comes to EA's. You can tell me i'm being stupid too if need be, but I have noticed that pretty much everyone looks at higher time frames to confirm trend direction. This seems great for an overall trend indication but ignores retracement or pull backs. By the time there is a directional change in a higher time frame everything has gone from green to red and large volumes of winnings are being leached away. Surely any trend or price direction change starts on the lower time frames, not the higher. If the price action is going against you on a lower time frame it may only indicate a small retracement or pull back which may or may not become significant. On the basis that a major rule of Forex trading is first not to risk your capital unnecessarily, would it not be sensible to check the lower time frame either instead of or as well as the higher time frame???

Hi Mr. Rooi. Can you create EA with HA_Rider principles for this indicator on renko - look at image - I think it has an great potential

Spend 3 hours playing around with settings, nothing meaningful, Trying EU, others currencies running from top left to bottom right

Using last 2 month data.. I don't understand how logic behind it.. Say LOT sizes, Got Equity LOSS Percentage Set to 2.0

And how the heck I got 14% drawdowns? Win ration also low.. None of the settings post here so far working..

I'd like to test it on Demo acc, but with such poor backtesting results, I don't think it's worth it. Overall Order # is TOO LOW

And I'm using H4, have tried H1 then results even worse

i tryed with tp 30% sl 60% but this setup eats all of profits.. will go 30/30 this week

btw what setings are you using in Heiken_Ashi_Smoothed_TF?

Looks like this has ground to a halt? Any news on why its in commercial content and has the efficiency of the EA improved during April?

Hi, Abokwaik and other good contributors,

Having gone through the robot lab, I cannot but first appreciate the timeless efforts of Abokwaik, it is a product of innovative thinking and committing time and energy.

I have back tested some of the the ABO and HA rider versions, but I want to test it live using a cent account with very minimal capital, but having attached, no trades though there's a smiley face and the market has moved very well on the pairs attached to.

I use forextime broker with m mt4 build 1080, is there anything I need to do to get it trading?
