I have no idea how to play this pair. The foreseeable future and news are strong for USD but yet is not moving down. It seems everyone is waiting the slightest reason to move it up. Not even the lower core CPI in Eurozone , YoY, which is base for ECB decision didn't moved it down as normal. It's like a balloon waiting to pop 100 pips/day. I'll stay aside.
pd- not to mention (traders quickly forget) there was no real/economical reason to spike 500 pips this month. total bullshit. WTF. As if something Iuuuge happened. Nada.

My head is fried looking at six pairs lately. The gold cycle is so vast trying to count is impossible, Probably missing a wavesoewhere, probably in the wrong sub set. Everything I do in gold blows up.. I'm always wrong with this pair is the easy answer.

1200 1215 resistance medium term up until 1255. supports 1123 1093. I wonder how many net short and long between 1169 1189..very sticky area

you trade the levels ! whether its 1h or 1min go by the levels. That's what I've learnt after 3.7 years. I don't care whats up with CPI numbers, or unemployment unless they're really substantial rarely they cause sudden directional change if you've got your SL wide enough you're all good. Now if you're on 1min chart yeah you have to be wary of such high imp releases.

No touch yet of the aqua. USD is not weak either to break up. If usd weakens some then we gotta break 1.1215-20 to contest highs.

Gold will stay up as long as uj can't pick itself from the bottom and indices consolidate. Short below 1250.
