Some of my thoughts on Kiwi. The Chart highlights the strength of the Kiwi against other pairs during the last week, GU (GREEN), AU (BLUE), CU (BLUE) and EU (BLACK). The spread over the last week has been significant and moving into a strong deviation from value and think its produces the best Swing opportunity. Any PPP model against the Kiwi produces a clear over valuation but like always timing and confirmation is everything. I won't argue the Kiwi fundamentals are strong but current valuation for me has represented a priced in level for a while.

The charts below CN, AN and GN are all in the zones. NC is messy and has no levels apart from upper range, AN and GN are more clearer defined charts with clear revert to mean on volatility trades. And very clear harmonic levels to trade. My thoughts are they will need to play out a bottom I think GN based on its volatility has the best V return to mean opp.

I have my own Volatility and revert to mean rules for the trades but am watching these ones.

NC longer term trade on lower margin waiting for the the break of range. Frustrating trade that hasn't been able to get the break down with Crude.

Australia? where the hells Australia? isn't it that little island of New Zealand!??

for me the market had a GAP up on thin orders between 5 and 6 so didn't think anything would stop it on the way down until it was filled. The volume of orders from what I can see are between 4 and 530. There doesn't seem to be any clean lines when selling the Kiwi on reaching the zones, so feel need to wait for setup to run or move in with small margin.

One thing for sure is Kiwi always softens up when it reaches it AN targets.

For some of you who have some time on your hands on the weekend or other.

I highly recommend this read, Volatility and Prisoners Dilemma. Its written by a guy at Artimis Capital Management. Its a great read but it is 52 pages (PDF Link).

The guy who wrote it comes in at the end of this Pod Cast, (which is worth a listen as well). Anyway worth the read if you have the time.

Pod cast from Adventures in Finance by Real Visions. For those who don't subscribe its free. Pod 16 is interesting information re the predictive ability of the restaurant cycle.

No that was a long exit. Didn't take the short. Wanted cypher short at 1235 yesterday but it didn't make it. I'm all flat now on fx. Have an spx short hanging in there but mentally I've already consigned it to the bin.
