Lol I know what candle direction is, my questions is how many candles would need to match that would confirm that trade is a buy or sell.

Obviously if all candles match the CFFp signal then its a good confirmation, but if only 3/5 or 4/5 would it still be a suitable trade to enter.

Been using dashboards for 6 months now and have learned by watching
a few people and what they did, like Captain Husky77 "Pip Pirate", Gvc, Aeseme the genius,
and these last two and HP who seem to have disappeared...
.. .. Coders who make dashboards are not necessarily good traders, lots of difference between them ..
but by asking to a couple of coders i get in touch with, they have said that by coding projects they have also learned
a lot about trading ... so newbies be encouraged you might be better trader than a pro-coder and then me too :-)
I bet for example that xmess knows more now than when the thread initially started ... it's normal_

About Eax and Xmess Ea ... they are different and similar at the same time ...
I am using both of them and so for me it's always double Pins when Loading baskets lets say
12 baskets for "Pin_Mess_xbar" method
and 12 Eax for for Ccfp Pins and same settings....
I can use Xmess Ea to take pairs straight away without any filter, and using a timer too which is great_

and i can Use Eax in 8 ways:
(1) See signal from Ccfp-df and input into Eax Clean "filterless" which is also the way Forexpinbar started, and set basket ($/Pips)
(2) Get the Signals from Ccfp-diff ( which in this case will be be a pin) and have Auto-placed placed in auto Clean "filterless" Eax
(3) Get the Signals from Ccfp-diff ( which in this case will be be a pin) and they are read by the Pin and placed by Eax with some filters which could be ADR, ATR(*) Heiken Ashi/ strenght on 3 TFs, Ma based, Rsi and so on ...
(3-a)# Pairs chosen from number 2 and 3 options will be differents
(4) Or get Signals/Pairs from option 2 or 3 and switch off Auto mode in Eax and let it go
(5) Or get Signals/Pairs from option 2 or 3 and let the Auto-Mode run so new pairs will be added when values of the Ccfp changes ...
(6) Input 6 Ccfp-diff different values and levels and let Eax choose the best for me when signal matches and place it in Auto (not many signals)
(7) Input 6 Ccfp-diff different values and levels same Priority and let Eax take signal when a pin has pairs available (results here not so ok) but i tried
(8) Last and not least Having Eax combined with Dashpin Manager and Create a Uni-Combo-Out and taking the best values based on calculation inside it.

I am sure there are more methods, but for now i like Xmess Ea which is simple/reliable and anyone can easily understand it_

Fx Madness/ NO problem for the colors i know not worthy changing it ...
so will be enough for you to release me the .mq4

Makes sense what you say to see matching candles
however depending on the Higher TF being used there are times where often
when you seeing all TFs aligned for some time and greens it is time to sell rather than buy
and there are times when all reds are alignedand it is time to buy rather than selling
That is also what the Great Ding Dong is doing with her Dashboard

that is the reason why i would like-Ccfp-diff to consider also Major resistances and major supports, Pivots
but that's not possible and need an external dashboards or Ea so that i can input pairs chosen by the ccfp-diff
and then out of those pairs, "before being processed and taken as a trade" they wil be filtered by the Dashb
based on the value of the Pivot or MA which has been chosen ... Hard stuff but can be done ...

Interesting that the signals given by the CCFp are different from the candle direction on the DB.

CADJPY is showing green (buy) but the candle directions is showing red (sell). EURCAD, GBPCAD, GBPNZD, NZDJPY are also showing similar differences.

Sorry incorrect info so amended.
I had 2 trades
D1 W1 TL1 TF MA (I forgot this either default or 5/12) Opnening NY open.
TP 150 but MIN 0 LOL

W1 TL2 TT ( really True True) MA Default Opnening NY open.
TP 150 MIN 75.
Weekly has had loss Thursdays and Fridays so this will be secure my profits. If I had time, I had trades GMT 7:00 or 8:00am.

nice to see things on Ccfp and also on chart
the difference between using TT FF FT TF is clear, luv the visual
Aud Usd signal disappeared from dashboard by the time i made the image
but is there now ...

My understanding is the CCFp uses moving averages and strength to select pairs, not candle direction, so they WILL be different most of the time.

That is why when the do align, it could "potentially" be a winning direction...

Case in point, the good old GBPNZD, to me at least is RED on the the top 3 time frames of MN, W1 and D1

I had to open for another demo, so I thought to try the Tokyo open

Should of been happy with 1% gain at $500 probably, nice signals however!

Close to my target of 100 pips, as I see it has been as high as 95 now.

Excellent Tokyo session after a not so great London due a poor opening time on my part, should have opened at 9 GMT since red news was at 830 GMT. Will do more testing of the Tokyo session with these settings, this was profitable yesterday as well. All baskets opened for Tokyo at 00:10 GMT

you are using Luxing Mod indicator ?but I dont know what are the calculations on that indicator
that have been made to make those colors appear ....
For example there are strength meters and other Csm that use similar calculation
but when compared they are still looking similar but colors not the same or maybe will be the same
after a few minutes .... What is the indicators based? Moving averages weighted, + Rsi / Pips high low weighed formula and so on ?
I never use d it and looks cool, ,, is it good when compared with other CSM ?

Here is for example a calculation based on Strenght Meter which is online

how the meter is calculated…
(PIPS / [DAILY HIGH-LOW] ) * BIS Weighted Formula + (PIPS / [DAILY HIGH-LOW] ) * BIS Weighted Formula… Then divide by Number of Pairs.
PIPS = Amount of pips this pair is at in reference to the daily range. If EURUSD is at 1.3500 and the daily range is 1.3450 to 1.3550, this figure would be 50.
Daily HIGH-LOW = This is the Daily High/Low range for the currency pair. If EURUSD’s low is 1.3450 and high is 1.3550, the daily range would be 100. The daily range is calculated from 5:00pm EST to 4:59pm EST 24 hour period, standard day for the Forex market,
BIS Weighted Formula = Once you get the reading and based on the pair, you’d multiply that using Bank of International settlement Forex volume distribution list to get the right weight.
+ = Repeat this process for every pair that contains your currency. For instance, the reading of EUR will require the meter to repeat the process 7 times: EURUSD, EURGBP, EURCHF, EURJPY, EURAUD, EURCAD, EURNZD.
Finally, you take the average reading and divide the result by the number of pairs, which is 7.
You repeat the same process for all 8 majors. You also have to keep in mind for reverse calculations as per the naming convention, because sometimes your currency could be either the base or quote currency in a pair, like USD is to USDJPY and EURUSD.
The meter does about 112 calculations per each reading, which is lightning fast considering the amount of pairs it has to go through. The advantage is that it can pinpoint you to the best pair(s) to trade by identifying both weak and strong currencies.

Thanks for your interest but the question not about Luxing Mod - it is a simple color of the current candle, eg, MN red - Monthly candle is red

It works fine!

I am asking FXMadness why the Dashboard, where it says Candle Direction, the color is not matching what the actual current candle is

Check the GBPNZD to see what I mean............ or I've got it wrong ????

Maybe a double shot coffee coming up

I'm interested to know which one was correct! Did you check the chart itself for confirmation?
