He does not use the same candle to determine the highest peak during the demand trend to determine the intersection point. But uses the next candle.

Probably because we had no idea what one was, but I looked it up

Fractal definition: A fractal is a formation where you have in the case of a high:

One higher candle with two lower candles on either side.

For a low it is the opposite.

when someone first mentioned it I didn't put 2 and 2 together, but this is what we are using to connect our trendlines.

Hope this clears this up for someone.

Am I right to say with fractal indicator in place, it is easy to draw the trend lines. That is draw supply line from the blue arrow or draw demand line from red arrow.

The hour that the 4 hour bars begin on should have no influence on how you trade any system. If you take a disciplined trader and clone him so that the two trade a given system identically, but on two different time zones, you will see a difference in their wins and losses over the short term (a week) but over several months the differences will average out and the two traders will have virtually identical equity curves.

I only mention this because not all of us have the Same Number of Pages in any given Thread & I often see posts like "See Page # 5". It's always a good idea {like you did DF} to also post the "Post #" as this does not change.
Personally I have mine set to the Max as it reduces the number of times I have to 'Jump' to the next page.

Could someone please check slide 24 in the powerpoint presentation and tell me why he did not draw a vertical line through the blue candle with the highest peak to determine the intersection point with the demand trend line. But instead uses the red candle after the blue one to determine the intersection point. He does that often in the slide show.

If you want the Same Chart Data as Mouteki, you will need to use the Same Data Server.

ALL Brkrs are Not Always quoting the Same Price.
That means Mouteki may have a different Point A or B by a couple of ticks.
Which may mean a Different Bar.

It shows you where the points are yes. If you draw them from right to left you should have the right line. However it must be a personal preference, if you need it it could be of some assistance. I have it on at the moment but I go through phases of wanting my charts to be clean. One thing I found it useful for was visually spotting past formations. Thanks nips for the tip.

Well done on the trade, but I think the point Peter is trying to make is that the system is as such and with people trying to learn it it just goes off the rails with all the variations that invariably occur.

It's the nature of the beast. It happens on all of the threads and what makes the whole process worthwhile for all of us. My trade was simple luck as I set a buy stop for fun and it worked. It's all about price action. We should never stop investigating. Next week there will be a new thread and a new idea. It's fluid!!

The fractal indicator does help, however I have noticed that sometimes it wont "flag" a candle/bar that I have chosen. It is late so could be a mistake on my behalf, but i am using fractalvolop. Can anyone shed some light on what they are using or what the settings are that may affect this? I do the demand/supply manually but would just like some confirmation that the points I have chosen are correct.
