So trade results for today are pretty impressive. I'm running 14 baskets, 4, weekly (10080, TF, FF, L2, L3) and 10 daily (1440, TF FF, L2, L3) opening at 07:00, 09:00GMT. A total of 1622 pips profit was made. The breakdown is below.

Total pips made: 3071.
Total pips lost: 1449.
Total pips after loss/total profit: 1622

The weekly trades are still running and will close on Friday. Overall a good day, but if you see above there was a lot of DD despite the big profit. During this testing I'll evaluate the pairs with big DD and remove them. I will add that so far the weekly with FF have not been performing, the weekly baskets are having the most DD.

The daily baskets performed well with making good profit and minimal DD. Total pips made on only the daily baskets is 720 pips. Done for the day.

Good times ahead. Green pips to you all.

BTW. I tried to use the trade report indicator to compile today's report but it didn't want to let me edit the date to for today. When I selected "just today's trades" it went blank. It lets me select the weeks trades but not today. Any solutions for it to give today's report?

If you are running 14 baskets at the same time yoy should expect a huge DD nothing strange about that.
But i do not think you will run this number of baskets all the time and certainly not on a live account.

I have mixed feelings trading those weekly ccfp signals.
Started today with a target of 1000 pips and that is already reached and is trailing from that point by now.

The mixed feelings come from WHAT AM I GOING TO DO THE REST OF THE WEEK...... :-) :-)

I see everyone today made tons of pips, i had 2 weekly baskets which went from 50 to 500 after CAD news, so maybe it was just luck, dont forget if we were on the wrong side we would be in deep DD now.
On live i would have taken that 50 pips and closed before news, so dont forget big news, even if we set and forget here

make sure u you on the trader report. show open + closed orders. the default state is closed only

Yes that's true. I did notice that the weekly baskets had the biggest DD, as apposed to the weekly baskets had minimal DD. I have 14 baskets just to test which settings have the most consistency. As the testing continues this week and next week I'll eliminate the baskets that are not performing well, and cut it down to perhaps 3-4 baskets to trade on my live account.

Who would have thought that Wednesday is a good day to start trading weekly signals (default settings).
I sure didn't and starting to believe in being lucky.
But the graph says it all, a single basket (with added trades on the way) and only been negative for $6.10.

it will keep at least some profits should the price reverse ;;;
If This Option Manual Basket
it is used, it overrides begin lock profits / lock level percent /set lock lock step, right ?

If i Have a TP of 250 and I set
100 pips Manual Basket
basically what the Ea will do..
when price has reached certain levels of lets say (150... 200pips Whatever level before TP-250 pips)
and didnt manage to hit the TP at 250 pips (rather than placing a lock step and calculating percent lock every .. such pips) ...
if the price goes down then it will lock it @ 100 pips .. the way i see it ...
if someone can confirm would be great ..
Also has anyone tried it ?
Fx madness said it didn't work for him ?

Hey Jenbols

The BeginProfitLockAt applies to both cases. It is where the EA starts to lock profit with the manual or SetLockEvery+PercentLevel inputs.

By setting a number on the Basket_Manual_Profit_lock you are telling the EA that once it sees BeginProfitLockAt +pips to start and set the manual lock level. This manual lock remains there until either the basket comes back and hits it, you change it manually, or you reset the EA.

If you set Basket_Manual_Profit_lock to 0 (no entry) then the EA will use the SetLockEvery and PercentLevels to move the trailing lock accordingly. Again the EA will only start to do this when the profit has reached BeginProfitLockAt pips.

Of course if u set BeginProfitLockAt=0 then the EA will not use either feature.

EDIT: one more thing. The Basket TP/SL is not affected. Those are still in play. I know it defeats the purpose but it was initially done for in case there was a bug and the trailing stop didn't work, this way at the least the user was protected by having some sort of basket stop. This will be removed in the next version once performance is verified.

To me that seems like it would be the same as setting Lock Percent Level to 100.0, and in that example, setting the Begin Locking Profit at 100.0 pips. It's just a manual profit lock as well, but you could also add the lock step every 50 pips or so to continue locking profit. However doing a 100% Lock Percent Level means that if it hits 100 then dips to 99 you're stopped out. I haven't tested the Basket Manual Profit Lock either, but I'm doing well with the current profit lock system.

Do not think that manual lock should override automatic lock/
Suppose you set the lock start at 500 pips for 75% step 100 pips and your basket reaches 330 pips but you see it going flatline.
Your first lock (500 pips) is not reached yet so you manually lock in 300 pips (just to be sure) and if the basket reaches 500 pips the auto lock and stepping will take over.

At least that is how i interpret it but i am sure xmess7 knows everything about it.

Good idea. It's a combo that provides the flexability of the the auto lock plus the static assurance of the manual lock.
will implement this on next version.

does not go up at all and dont lock in any profits ....
