DislikedI do have some minor questions to ask, and I hope you can make something clear for me. If I want to trade daily instead of weekly, must I change the setting of 10080 to 1440 on the CCFp indicator or only change to daily on the EA? So will it have a effect if I leave it on 10080 on the indicator, but change the EA to daily or I will have to make both daily? I hope this makes sense. My baskets I'm going to be testing is: B1) 10080, TF, L2, EA weekly. B2) 10080, FF, L2, EA weekly. B3) 10080, TF, L2, EA Daily. B4) 10080, FF, L2, EA Daily. B5) 1440,...Ignored
i will try to explain in my best effort. i think you are a bit confused here abt weekly and daily and also about 10080 n 1440.
first. lets say you set up your trade weekly which starts on monday. this is set up in the EA.
settings. weekly. day = monday. EA will open trade every monday at your designated time
settings daily. EA will open trade at your set time Everday monday to friday.
second about the time frame,
43200 = monthy chart
10080 = weekly chart
1440 = daily chart
240 = 4 hour chart
so on.. you get the idea.
your trade:
10080, TF, L2, EA weekly. which means you open that trade EVERY WEEK on the day u choose at specific time using a WEEKLY chart for the indicator to process the pair that will be traded. by default the ea will close on friday 1950 gmt unless u specify otherwise
10080, TF, L2, EA Daily. which means you open that trade EVERYDAY at specific time using a WEEKLY timeframe for the indicator to process the pair that will be traded. by default the trade will close at 2350 gmt (if remember correctly) everyday unless you specific otherwise. or you can set the ea to ignore the closing time by setting ignoreallclosehours=true to let it run as long as u want
1440, TF, L2, EA Daily.. open daily trade. using DAILY timeframe
hope that answer your questions
