Yes, the hike up to 113.x it will be a matter of time and what will be the first first we go to 109.x and then up to 113.x or first we have to 113.x and then down...

can someone explain to me , why Trump contact Russia affects usd/jpy? Why market overreact this contact? If trump didn't tweet , people may never know they exchange the info, and thats good against ISIS and terriosm.

Timeframe cannot be pinpoined for this pair. Uj moves 400 pips in 2/3 days without breaking sweat.☺

Its a safe haven because its yield is LOW. Currency is protected by Boj. If us investors are afraid to invest in equities becauae they wabt to avoid taking risk, then they invest in treasuries, bond, gold and yen. In risk off sentiment yen has more value than dollar.

But they are not higher-yielding. Higher yielding are currencies whose interest rates are higher. The JPY and CHF are the two LOWEST yielding currencies. The dollar needed a correction and this is not a Trump fail. This is simply more media brainwashing by the same folks who for the past 8 years brainwashed the naive into thinkng God was in the White House and could do no wrong.

USD/JPY was in a free fall today. Yesterday I thought it would reach 111.00, today it fell to 110.20, at which point I opened a long position. I think it will rebound to 110.50 at least.
