it looks like an exhaustion gap on the DJIA... it would have been interesting to see an "island reversal" pattern at those levels... had seen it in reality only twice in FX market, though in stocks they can be more common...

How high can it go before starting the descent?

on my opinion it was double diaginal, so you couldnot predict direction of shoot.

P.S. sorry, it was not a diamond a sequesnce of fluctuations in left part is wrong
