Bit of divergence on the hourly, could be a retrace, but there seems to be a bit of momentum behind it, sell limits triggered, any thoughts?

@ the risk of being wrong two nights in a row, this time with slightly more conviction trend has touched and respected bear trendline without invalidating. Sticking to my original analysis. If BoJ is done supporting USD against fundamentals 111.069 is still likely. Trend followers were most likely responsible for buying beyond 113.3XX. Time to see if BoJ stays out and lets large Trend Follower stops get hit on way down.

No CB Intervention + Large TF fund stops = mucho momentum to the downside. We should know by london open. Preparing Sell Stops now.

USD/JPY STRUGGLES AT 114 HANDLE

  1. USD/JPY capped below 114 handle, momentum studies are still biased higher.
  2. The pair is edging higher along 5-DMA support currently at 113.23.
  3. Break above major resistances: channel top at 112.75, cloud top at 112.80 and 100-DMA at 113.10 has reinforced upside.
  4. Markets almost priced-in a June rate hike on the release of a solid US jobs report released last Friday.
  5. On weekly charts the pair is showing a break above 100-SMA at 113.23.
  6. Minor reversal on close below 5-DMA and further reversal only on break below 100-DMA at 113.08.

Support levels - 113.23 (5-DMA), 113.08 (100-DMA), 112.80 (cloud top)
Resistance levels - 114, 114.63 (61.8% Fib), 114.75 (Mar 3 high)

Hold for 114.60.

Principally i agree to this but we had a tweet last night from NK and market went down 60+ pips if there is a response tweet to that then we can be at your suppirt levels rather quickly. But yes in principle i also have same thoughts. I had 2 loosers (-32 pips) and one winner +54 pips yesterday. All shorts.
