Think there is still some more short trades to be made out of AUD/NZD. Just hit the 55 SMA on the daily, resistance line and 38.2% on the Fib

Sharp more than 10 pip movement to south, and my short position is still red. TP was totally ignored, and spreads have gone from here to the Moon.

Disgraceful.

Fairly quickly, within the hour it should return to normal. But like Erebus said, watch out with big news, I saw this pair jump 50-60 pips within a few seconds. Especially this week you will have to watch out with the NZ interest rate decision.

Everything turned out fine in the end, my TP got hit, and spreads have returned to normal.

AUD/NZD 1.0680

Breaking news : Shadow Board says RBNZ should adopt tightening bias.

Having seen the latest data it seems logical .

Australia on the other hand should be adopting a loosening bias.

Budget tonight for Australia. A lot of fluff expected but really the govt have done absolutely nothing for economic turn around.

Building approvals yesterday had a massive drop and this will affect employment as property is one big industry here. ANZ job ads were up. No clear visibility on what sector .

Muddy waters with Australian data ..

AUD/NZD trending lower and i think we could have another challenge at parity

Fundamentals unchanged so look to sell AUD/NZD on this rally. Its a weak short squeeze.

Interestingly they highlight petrol and food as volatile items towards inflation.

That was the same equation Australia's CPI was affected by.

Australia GDP per capita and exports per capita are higher than those of New Zealand. I think New Zealand, for such a small country with low population, has been very well run. However, the Aud/Nzd pair are reaching the end of a cycle, in my opinion.
