Am I the only one feeling uncomfortable looking at this: Macron alongside Hollande commemorating the 72nd anniversary of the Allied victory over Germany? http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/ve-day-france-celebrates-liberation-fascism-macrons-victory-over-le-pen-1620530 If the dead can jump out of their graves, what do you think they would say?

Something will come out in the next few weeks from all those leaked emails. Macron is a weird one. You cannot marry your ex teacher old enough to be your mum and be normal! He would probably be exposed as a fully fledged fudge packer and the Russians or Trump supporters will get the blame.

That when it matter most France had the opportunity to elect for the first time a woman to be their president? Just goes to show that France likes holding on to their misogynist society? I still can not get over the fact he married his drama teacher, and his wife's oldest daughter was his classmate. What is society coming to these days? It really has reached crisis levels, when this is considered acceptable and this man becomes a leader of a nation? It is scandalous!

In the UK she would have been put in jail if she had a relationship with a 15 year old pupil. If he was older than 16 then she would have lost her job and barred from teaching.

But on a serious note, my theories on why Lepenn lost the election.

After watching some of her debates, there were a couple of things that stood out to me.

1. The last debate, is when she should have landed a knock out punch, which she failed to do. She simply fell into the trap of lowering her self to Macron's rhetorical tactic of semantic sludge. She should have exploited more of Macron's Oligarch membership, and painted him more in the light of a plutocrat whose absence of substance and little accomplishments would have exposed him for the fraud that he is. She played it too safe, and didn't show enough fire and failed to execute well placed strategic fired off volleys that were well timed.

2. Her body language and facial expressions were odd. I saw sadness and a tinge of defeatist expressions in the lines of her face.

Anyway, just some observations. She didn't have enough Ummph to get past the finish line or land that knock out punch that should have gotten everybody talking the next day! If I were Lepenn, my first act after losing the election would be to fire her campaign manager!

Sigh!

Apparently the turnout was 75.3%, the lowest since 1969, meaning that 11.4 million of the 47 million who were registered to vote chose not to. 3 million handed in a blank ballot and another million spoiled their ballot, all records for France. I see a lot of trouble brewing!
