Correct, I set up a futures account with them, however you can still trade the same pairs.

I also think I may be using NinjaTrader, I've been looking into it. How is the connection, have you had any issues with that platform in conjunction with IB's data feed?

This was expected I was in since yesterday [email protected] came 2 points to stopping me out at 1.0872 . Fear made me close today at 1.0930 . I'm looking at my ship ...left without me ...I guess that's how it is , some chase some look at the sailed ship ...while someone has the balls to get in at 1.0945. I learned a lot today ...here's hoping it comes back for you so we can get on that ship again....

NOT cuz it will drop once we on it ...

At least you didn't buy in yesterday and get stopped out at 1.0872 like I did.

Usually if I have a connection problem it's with IB connection to internet & not IB connection to Ninja.
Not sure if that's an IB problem or my internet provider. Usually reconnects pretty quickly.
I have IB phone # in case I need to call in an order to close.

***Futures is limited to the majors vs. US$. (Euro, Cad, Yen, etc........ so no crosses to trade.)

My stop was @1.0870 ...I did buy yesterday at 1.0920 my mental stop was 1.0880 and hard stop @1.0870 that god damn news yesterday got me double minded /fear ...hence I took the 10pips this morning ..But the market keeps doing it over and over... when ever you're in a good position tests you...

1.08991 @ +84 stop was @ 08582 (support of the preceding down wave) that we bought in the days before. While I was sleeping price came to within 13 lol pips of my sl Few months ago I woke up and price had missed my stop by .0008 pip and gone back my way.

So the question is.. Why does the market jump out of it's wave sequence and back into it by 30 pips on this day. What mechanical function is that fulfilling at these points in the market cycle? I need to see all the NFP days plotted on the chart to isolate it's function and relevant area within the cycle.

Every Not eFfecting Price day comes, I plot the path of the wave in it's sequence and it jumps in and out of the path by 30 pips, never ever ever leaves it's outer containing wave. And everybody loosing they bloody minds about this day it's more insanity I tell yah. Sometimes 30 above and below, other times one or the other only.

I always I add 30 pips either side of projection for the wobble. Some times catching the spike to the pip.

I would wait for confirmation before shorting. Even though price is right against the upper trendline of the daily channel, which should be very strong resistance but I would wait to see some big sellers coming in before consider shorting. Like I said a few weeks ago, we don't know how the market will react to a Macron Presidency. It could mark the beginning of a longterm change in sentiment from bearish to bullish. In that case, targets above 1.1 is very possible. 1.07 will be nullfied for the foreseeable future. It'll be very interesting to see how the market plays out tomorrow against this very important resistance.
