Why use 9 baskets? all that is doing is over-exposing yourself. He is using 9 baskets for testing purposes...

Not a problem! You ask a good question and I think it has been covered in this thread somewhere....just tried to locate but failed! Will post if I find it.

From what I understand:

The Use Current setting highlighted with the arrow refers to which bars are being used in the calculation. With the setting TRUE it will be using this weeks bar as well as last weeks bar so the pairs could change on a daily basis depending on price action happening this week. If that setting is set to FALSE then it will use last weeks and the weeks before bar to carry out the calculations and therefore the calculation has already been made and the results will be static.

I believe this to be the case. I hope someone will poke me with a sharp stick and correct me if I am wrong!

Totally agree to that. Many positions are duplicated across baskets. With that being said this EA does have a high winning rate.

try attaching the CCFp indicator to the chart, the re-load the EA

Please show your journal for the error. Make sure you have put the CCfp indicator into your "indicator" folder.

CCfp-Diff is a free indicator and provides reliable signals..I have to admit that CCfp-Diff is one of the best and reliable indicators I have used ever used since I started trading.God bless Ferrufx and Simeon Semenych for everything they did to make the CCfp indicator an amazing trading tool.

That's great advice for someone learning about the method and probably using an EA for the first time.

As it is, there are so many variables that one size doesn't fit all, for example:

> Every pair has a different value per pip

> Every pair has a different average daily range

> From week to week or day to day, the number of pairs traded may change, so making 500 pips with 15 pairs is easy while with 5 pairs, it may not reach the goal.

So, for me, I will start with 0.01 and get it all working smoothly, then increase the lot size as confidence increases, and can see what the average daily risk is in dollars.

Seems to me the best option would be to set a very high take profit for pips, 2000 or 3000, and then use the trailing setting. Today the EURJPY ran up 90 pips so with 15 pairs, seems like 1000 pips would be reached some days, no?

That way, on those big days when price decides to make a run for it, hopefully capture most of it.
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Suggestion to all time question, got to time and date . com and make a personal clock like this, except with your location oif course

Include Reykjavik as it is GMT all year long

The EA displays "GMT Current Day Hour:" on the Metatrader chart screen

So that should read the same, doesn't get any easier than that

Not live yet..Plan to trade live in 2018....Why?Because I want to be fully synchronised with the CCFp strategy..Currently engaged to the CCFp strategy , wedding scheduled for 2018..Will start making babies immediately after the CCfp strategy wedding LOL.I am very pleased I was able to find great potential in the CCFp-Diff signals and shared it here..It has been a wonderful experience here so far sharing ideas , improving and learning from each other..The fact that some traders on the thread have started trading live with their hard earned cash and quite happy with the results is enough evidence that we have a profitable strategy here..

Guys can anyone help me explain the virtual basket-lost 550 pips today because it did not open !
as in -
1/ my settings are set to trade daily at 00.02 gmt
2/yet the basket is saying its on and will open at 08.00 gmt - but this is my weekly settings ? yet im set to trade daily?
3/ im assuming when the virtual basket opens it wont open trades untill the specified minus pips or plus pis are reached?
4/ to me the only way i can get my virtual basket to open is to use weekly settings and set the correct day and time for the virtual basket to open- (so i cant use a virtual basket in daily mode ?) is this correct?
please see screenshot below - says will open at 08.00 gmt - yet ea set to trade daily and set to daily virtual basket and open time 00.02 ??
