Hi D1,
me too have a Dax ETF as investment and when is very low I add a buy with a P.O. The value is not given though from the market but from the value of ETF that is not of the precise market day. It seems that your way of investment is different from mine. True?

There is a sense that equity markets are now into a continuing corrective phase, with European markets again opening weaker today. The run of weaker US data and questions over the longevity of the reflation trade are weighing on sentiment. The negative trends on Treasury yields are certainly a key driver of these moves and the longer this continues, the more concerned that equity traders will become. Weaker than expected earnings are a drag on the Dow with IBM adding to the previous losses of Goldman Sachs, however the broader S&P 500 has been slightly more insulated to the falls.

theres an intelligent order typ called "order on event":

perhaps this order typ might help you to place orders in the future more accurate at a certain dax level.

edit: also, i would not call the above mentioned strategy as an investment, it´s more like a trading approach on higher time frames. for investment, i prefer direct investment in stocks; portfolio created in october 2014 is up with 45% (including payed dividens) outperforming dax by a view

Maybe you know better the good stocks that are on Dax. Nowdays I just diversify my investments with ETFs.
